An absolutely beautiful location and a wonderful hotel. One of our best nights of our 2 weeks road trip. As well as cosy rooms with a view the restaurant served a fantastic 4 course set meal and breakfast had a nice selection of food.

Unique location right by the ocean. We stayed in a lovely apartment which was clean and comfortable with a view of the sea. We enjoyed the use of the sauna and the quality and ambience of the breakfast was good. Unfortunately we found the overall service to be lacking. There were a lot of staff who seemed to be new in post/temporary so hopefully service will improve as they move through the season. We were were unlucky to be there when they were experiencing an issue with their fire alarm system so it went off in the middle of the night for two consecutive nights out of a three night stay. There didn’t seem to be a robust process in place following evacuation which was a bit concerning. Overall we had a pleasant stay but the hotel management needs to work on being more customer focused.

Incredible!! Peaceful spot in the middle of nowher

This place was such a highlight!!! Super peaceful cottage in the middle of nowhere. Solid dinner/breakfast. Great place to recharge!

It was a beautiful place and the room (family room) was large and comfortable. The laundry facility was just a small washing machine (no dryer), so plan accordingly….I had to pack damp clothing the next day, as we continued our trip. The dinner and breakfast at the restaurant were both superb.

The room was excellent. very comfortable and well designed. But... Dinner is optional as a 3 course meal, decided by the chef, at a price of 790 NOK (75 USD. 745 nok for dinner, and unexpected 45nok for water). I was very very dissapointed. 1st was a green peas soup. it was extremely too salty and very dense (didn't finish it). The bread was excellent (a hi hydration fuccacia). 2nd was a trout fish fillet, with cuscus, brocolli and coliflower. the fish was coocked right, but was missing some kick (maybe if the skin was left on the fish and became crispy). the souce was ok, again missing something. cuscus wasnt to my taste. vegetables were steamed. it was too mildly flavoured (didn't finish it). desert was a creamy between panacota and brule. a bit too mild. Overall flavours are not good enough, and there all missing textures changes. None of them made me want to eat more and expect the next bite. I would not recommend this dinner, and it certanly does not worth the very hi cost (75 USD).

What a memorable stay! Location makes the hotel to stand out of course - but everything else is also very good, from comfortable rooms (yes, with Nespresso machines!) to a tasty breakfast.

Quiet, remote and very peaceful

This was a perfect place along our journey to stop, rest, and embrace the power and beauty of nature. The bungalows are very well equipped and close to a Coop for food as needed. The internet is spotty but with so much raw nature why be held hostage to internet? We were there “off season” so very quiet. We enjoyed a fire in the stove nightly as we listened to a book! This is “camping” in style and something we sincerely enjoyed. There was a mix up in our reservations but the staff quickly and promptly offered a solution which resulted in an even better experience for us!

Ein schönes, kleines Hotel in Traumlage, direkt am Meer. Äußerst netter Empfang, ein geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Zimmer mit Südbalkon und Kaffeekapselmaschine. Alles war sehr sauber und gemütlich. Auch das Restaurant können wir empfehlen, das Viergängemenü war ganz hervorragend!

Jättefint hotell vid havet. Bra service och personligt bemötande. Superfin utsikt från rummet. Mysigt med bastu där man även kan ta ett dopp i havet. Generellt ännu bättre än vad det ser ut på bilderna. Bra mat, både fyrarätters middag och frukosten! Vi hade bara tänkt stanna en natt på genomresa men förlängde med ytterligare en natt då det var så fint och mysigt här.
