I stay at the Tru by Hilton Coppell location when I come to Dallas a few times a year. I booked at the North Richland location this time because my usual was sold out and I thought I would have the same experience I have at the other location. I was very wrong!
My partner and I were racially profiled and accused of smoking when we were literally just waking up. I got into a huge argument with front desk staff following this due to her only targeting our room and not actually looking for the source after we let them into out room and it wasnt us! Management ignored my concerns about the issue. I had to contact Hilton customer service.
Fixtures were falling apart in the room, the bathroom door handle fell off and there was a pipe falling out of the wall.
Additionally, I asked for paper to use at the front desk and was given a paper with hotel guests person information, first and last names , check out, check in times , room numbers etc. This made me feel very unsafe.
I contacted Hilton customer service and was further profiled by the first agent and had to call back to get actual assistance. Stay FAR away from this property or any of these. This entire experience has been a nightmare and put a damper on my significant other's birthday celebration. Spend your money where your business will be appreciated!
