Absolutely disgraceful service
The property was double booked. Our payment went through the night before, after which the host would've received a message. However, sadly it was beyond this individual to let us know right away and instead they just left us swinging, waiting for access details they were never going to send.
We spent ages trying to get in touch with them, including a 10-minute call to VRBO in the USA. When we finally managed, they simply told us we couldn't get in and to just ask for a refund.
Utterly shocking, couldn't care less service from a rank amateur who shouldn't be anywhere near this industry. We finally got somewhere else at a ridiculous cost of £400 for the night after being turned away from numerous other establishments. If this clown had had the common decency to let us know right away that there was a problem, we wouldn't have been frantically scrambling around after dark trying to find somewhere to stay.
