This is a great hotel if you have to work in the fort walton area. But not for a vacation.
Pet property. The whole place smelled and it was worse with all the air freshener to cover the pet smell. Pool closed for maintenance. And no one was ever was working on the pool.
The staff was courteous and helpful. The hotel was very clean. It was obvious that cleanliness is important to the staff considering the hotel is in close proximity to the beach.

Location is good, beside main Rd., variety of restaurants and quiet. Room is wide and clean! Stuff help us to find out restaurant and enjoyed dinner.
My wife checked out and was not impressed with the desk clerk wearing the Trump lanyard. Political views aside one would expect a national hotel chain not to purposely offend a customer, especially when the desk clerk is the face of the hotel I am sure the hotel wishes to have clients of all political persuasions.
Very clean facility
Im just grateful that I was able to get a room at the last minute during a holiday weekend. I always enjoy staying at the La Quinta because of the price, cleanliness, and the complimentary breakfast. I was disappointed to see that the usually outstanding breakfast was severely lacking this year. That is my only complaint about this stay, so all in all I would recommend.
It was in a good location which was like 5 minutes from Okaloosa Island and about 15 minutes from Destin. The staff was awesome. I would definitely stay at this location again!
Very nice property. Pet friendly with a great area to take your pet out. Staff friendly, comfy bed, seems newly renovated. Nice area.
