This Serene Mermaid Bungalow is about 450 sq. ft. with 1 Queen bed and 1 bathroom. Upstairs on second level with private deck with great ocean breezes. The living and bedroom areas are separate. The view of the tropical courtyard from this upper lever bungalow is very nice.

This bungalow is not handicap accessible. See bungalow 2 for handicap access.

Unfortunately disappointed

While my family was looking forward to spending time together, this property unfortunately did not meet our standards. The check-in process wasn’t as straightforward as it’s been with other rentals, however, the property manager was responsive. Upon entering the rental, we noticed rust on the fridge, caked on dust and black mold on the AC unit, a roach in the bathroom cabinet, a roach in the information binder that was hidden in the entertainment center, dirty comforter, not nearly enough parking, and no extra toilet paper. It’s states to not park on the lawn, however, there were not enough spots to park. We only had 1 vehicle. Additionally, upon inspecting the box spring and mattress, both looked worn and nothing like previous rentals. We were startled on the day of checkout when someone let themselves in—well before our checkout time of 11 AM (posted on the listing and laminated information page hung on the fridge). However, when reaching out to the property manager, we were told that checkout was at 10 AM, despite numerous places that 11 AM checkout was posted. While we appreciated the convenience of a walkable beach, we felt a bit misled with this posting and would not recommend booking until the issues above have been resolved.
