We stayed in an island suite, spacious and spotless clean. The pillows could be a little softer :) the kitchen has everything you need to cook, also equipped with a dishwasher. When you check in, they give you a wristband at the front desk that allows you to use the kayaks, paddle boards free of charge. Definitely recommend.

Nice place for families. Staff is friendly and helpful. Beautiful island.

Most of the wait staff we encountered were very uninformative, and as friendly as a rattlesnake. The rooms are in desperate need of an upgrade. They are run down and have dirt and grim in all the corners. Some of the doors came off their hinges, the toilet ran all the time despite jiggling the handel. The food is very industrial. We only ate on site once, and that was enough. If you enjoy cafeteria food, you should be fine. The bi-cycles they offer are the WORST! The chains fall off frequently, they have no modern hand brakes, and no bell to warn others of your presence, or that you are passing. They are junk! Recreation equipment is the same, like the fuzz ball table is slanted and broken. The worst was the men’s urinal at the main pool. Every time it flushed automatically, it would do so with such force, water and what urine had just been offloaded would actually spill out on to the floor. Thus the floor was covered in numerous people’s urine!!!!! They hotel was nice enough to put up a “caution wet floor” sign. The staff did not seem to care. This may be the case at all hotels/resorts on Sanibel, but there are NO lights at the pools, and they close at dusk. Yes, dusk, as in around 5:30 in the afternoon, during this time of year, you or your kids can not go swimming in the pools. We will not return, we will not recommend this place, and we will not use Orbitz because I believe we got false info from this site concerning Sundial resort. Sanibel is great

Beautiful views of the Ocean. Great amenities. Top notch restaurants. Very friendly staff. Our room was wonderful with a fully stocked kitchen. Would have preferred more bathroom counter space. Overall 5 stars

Beautiful suite with everything you could need. I could live there forever! Steps away from a beach filled with shells. The restaurants are too pricey. We walked out of the restaurant on the first night there. We were seated outside and the waitress was busy serving everyone around is who came after we did.

We drove to Sanibel from Orlando to break up our Disney vacation with some peace and quiet. Our girls loved the beach, the resort and the local restaurants. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our only regret was not staying longer!

You can find much nicer hotel in the seem price or lass

Service was a bit slow in pizza cafe and restaurant. Seems there was only one waitress each place. They did best they could but the resort needs to have more than one per area to help. Overall, very nice place to stay for families.

Dirty dirty dirty. Turned the bed down at night to sleep and found blood all over them. Had to change rooms at 11 at night.

Great place to stay on honeymoon. Front desk staff very nice and helpful.

Staff Excel! You know it is there job, but they seem to go out of there way to make sure, every thing was , as it should be.

The resort is located along the beach but depending on the room you may not have a view of it. The condos all come with a full kitchen making it more economical, however there are plenty of restaurants to choose from in the resort and off the resort.

Beautiful resort! Wish we had more time here! The beach is wonderful! Great location that is off the main drag, yet it is very close to restaurants.

The beach is the best part, quiet, long and full of shells. The staff were very friendly, grounds were well maintained and pools were nice. We ate at Shima, chef Sam was so fun and hilarious. We had a great experience overall and hope to come back again!

I loved the unit and the beach. Personnel is very kind, except for the person in charge of helping with the ombrella, who seemed bothered by my request for one.

One of the best resorts I have stayed in. Clean, very friendly staff, good food & service.

Stayed 1/23/17 thru 1/27/17. The room was very nice and clean with kitchen, and nice bedroom area and living area along with balcony overlooking ocean and courtyard. Very quiet

This was a last minute decisions to come to Sanibel. We were very excited to be back on the island. It had been many years since we had come, and this was a Great place to relax and unwind. Loved the extras included in the price. kayak and paddleboards and bikes

If Shima restaurant offers you a free meal, go pay anywhere else. Place is terrible!

Overall we had a really enjoyable stay. Staff were very pleasant especially Activities staff. Nice Bailey's Marketplace
