Nice family-friendly property on a nice beach on a nice island and at a nice price. It is not a mega-resort in any manner, but a well-kept old-school motel/hotel on the beach. We shall return.

Easy access to the beach. Room well-stocked with towels, toilet tissue, etc. Convenient having mini fridge, microwave & Keurig coffee pot. The restaurant hardly ever seemed to be open. Tiki Bar prices for food & drinks was very high!

I stayed at the resort for 7 days. I had no hot water for 4 of the 7 days. The hotel did not give any warning or tried to correct the accommodations.

The one thing that frustrated me is that due to COVID they still do not have daily maid service.

Nice location, room wasn’t clean, staff at checkin was unfriendly.

It was convenient and close to the beach.

Loved the tiki bar

The location on the beach is nice and the resort itself was very pretty. The tiki bar was fun, though it closed early (6pm) and the bar staff was great (thanks Melton!). The front desk staff was so-so, the restaurant we weren't able to eat in as it was either closed or there was no staff to help us, so we went elsewhere for every meal. There were usually no towels available at the pool, perhaps just ned more help as we all know this industry is hurting right now for employees so that was not a huge issue for me. The resort is older so we weren't expecting a lot from the room and didn't spend a lot of time there anyway, but definitely not worth the price (we paid about $400/night with taxes/fees). I understand Sanibel is somewhat pricey but this is way too much for this property. Being an Opal property I am used to nicer hotels such as the SandPearl in Clearwater, so a little surprised about this one being so pricey for such an older outdated place. Overall the resort was good it just needs to be priced appropriately and I think it would have been more tolerable and able to accept the room condition (unfortunately there was also hair in the tub when we arrived, which grosses me out). So I would probably stay there again but would be looking for a better deal next time...

Ok needs some work

It was ok, nothing that bad or good.

Rooms were outdated and smelled old so felt it was over priced. Beach was just a walk away so that was wonderful.

Convenient and somewhat clean. Smelled mold upon entering room. Come to find out the shower curtain at the bottom was black with mold.

Our stay was very nice, the staff made us feel safe and that the pandemic measures they are tsking, are seriuos. thank you for all you did to make stay nice....the beach was excellent, everyone couteius. great to take children.

Beautiful, exclusive on-beach resort! Great COVID cleanliness with masks, shields, roomservice as delivery!

We had a great and relaxing time! Everything looked clean and well maintained. Staff was friendly. The sad part was that because it was during the coronavírus pandemic, not everything was available to guests. But the location is awesome and we were able to enjoy the beautiful beach.
