These rooms were so big and fit our needs. There were 5 of us total. Breakfast was ok... but the rooms were very dirty. The floor was so dirty it left our socks black with dirt. If they could improve the housekeeping this place would be so much better. Right by bridge to sanibel island. Secluded so not much traffic. You have to drive to find eateries although there is a gas station very close by. Has a full kitchen which helped us save money! Nice area, right by an outlet. Beautiful beach very nearby across the bridge. The toll to cross there was $5.00.
The property is worn down. It needs new beds, and is in need of maintenance such as toilets run forever, faucet leaks and such. I get it's in a vacation destination but a little work would go along way. Staff is friendly.
Stayed with the family over spring break in a two bedroom suite. Nice, clean & friendly staff. They also have a decent full breakfast i.e. Scrambled eggs, bagels, cereal, waffles etc....location is ok if you want to explore the Ft. Myers area but not so great if you want to hang out by the beach. Then trying to find cheap parking by the beach is a pain. The drive to the beach thru the traffic was on average 30/40 minutes. Next to a gas station, 7 eleven & fast food places across the street. The pool is very small and never saw anyone using it. Bad water pressure and when I asked about it but they said there was nothing they could do to fix it. I suspect this place attracts a lot of business travelers. If this hotel was right by the beach then I'd give it a 5. I have to deduct for location, pool size, water pressure & a little wear and tear on the living room furniture.
Great stay! I will be back to the area a few more times in the coming weeks and will definitely stay here. The staff was very courteous and friendly. Breakfast was great and I really enjoyed the evening managers receptions (socials). The room was very spacious, I liked having a separate living area from my bedroom in the fully furnished kitchen. Good amenities as well--pool, fitness center, fire pits, and basketball court (hope to use it next trip). LOVE the grocery shopping service concept, will definitely be using that next trip.
I needed a conference room or quiet room to conduct a job interview while on vacations. Benjamin has been very helpful. He showed me one conference room, and the booking of the room has been very easy. When I came to take the room a few days after the booking, the staff was aware of my venue (which is really appreciable because what is more annoying than explaining a second time your whole story ?). The wifi is very powerful, the room was very quiet and the environment was perfect and very professional. The staff has been very professional as well, I cannot recommend this hotel enough ! It's close to everything you need, the parking lot is very big and the place offers all the amenities you need for both leisure holidays and business trips. Thank you again to Benjamin and his staff, your help was exactly what I was looking for at a crucial point of my career !
Chose this hotel primarily based on proximity to the Twins and Red Sox spring training facilities, and the fact that I wanted suite-style accommodations to have separate sleeping space for a toddler. Staff were helpful and friendly. Our room was pretty basic but got the job done. Nothing really to write home about, but also nothing really to complain about. The common areas of the property - hotel lobby, halls, breakfast area, etc. - really felt tired and in need of a refresh. Nothing to do with the hotel, but what I wish I had known about Fort Myers: unless we really missed something, there's really not much to the area. Quaint and walkable, it is not. We found little more than a massive highway (Colonial Blvd.) filled with lots of big box / chain stores. We made multiple day trips to Sanibel Island, which is a bit of a slog from Fort Myers. If I were ever to do a similar spring training trip again, I would stay on Sanibel Island, and make the slog in the reverse direction for the baseball games.
I was in a "quiet" room on the first floor with a family with children in the room above me that ran around all day long. Literally. When I said something to the front desk they said that the family would be living there for several months and didn't do anything to remedy the situation except tell me a room on the third floor would be available the next day when I demanded to be moved. When the next day came, the room wasn't available. The room was not clean and there were cockroaches as a result. At night there were people outside in the parking lot that didn't look safe and a garbage truck came every morning at 4:30. What a nightmare.
I was there from Sunday to Sunday - had a great time easy access to everything, staff was very helpful - Reason for stay was the National Roller Hockey Championship held at Skatium. Even though there were quite a few college students, they were all very polite and I would say well behaved. The hotel had 2 different teams staying there and it was fine.
We booked a 2 BR suite to accommodate 4 adults, 2 small children and 2 large dogs. The staff were wonderful. Breakfast had several choices - scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, cold cereal, oatmeal, waffles and assorted toast choices. More fruit may have been available had we arrived earlier. When we were to check out, one of our party became ill. We were able to move to a smaller room (the others departed) without any difficulty.
We specifically selected this hotel as it offered a separate sleeping area which was important for our purposes. The actual bathroom and bedroom were ample and comfortable. The sitting and kitchen area was smaller than anticipated but overall okay. Breakfast was nothing fancy but decent selection. The only complaint was we experienced once night where the smoke detectors in the hotel were set off numerous times. The only one on duty was a very young night desk clerk who looked even more scared than us. Fire Department showed up each time (happened three times) and assured everyone there was no fire and we were safe. We learned the next day it was a faulty smoke detector that was tripping the system.
