Girls Weekend

This was a perfect house for our group; we had a girls' weekend, and the home was absolutely amazing. It had everything you could need in the home. We took an Uber to Publix to stock the fridge. Everything else was within walking distance, the ocean is pretty much across the street, and the bars and restaurants were all within a very short walk, so we did not need to have a rental car. We had 6 girls, so having the 3 bathrooms to get ready was nice. If you want a worry-free vacation, this home offers it all.

Outstanding Property

Salty Air Retreat was everything we hoped for and more. Conveniently located by the beach, this location was stocked with all the amenities you could want. The many restaurants within a short drive were fantastic. I highly recommend this property for a family vacation with or without kids.

Perfect Rental

Great location and plenty of amenities! We had plenty of space in the house. Kitchen has the perfect coffee spot on the screened in porch. Easy walking to the beach. Also perfect distance to walk into Times Square and all the food trucks along the way. The pool was perfect for cooling off after the beachbebeach!

Great property in amazing location

We were a party of 6–a couple of moms and 4 college girls. The house was the perfect setup for us. Us moms had our mom bedrooms and baths upstairs and girls overtook the downstairs.First off, the communication with Lauren was terrific. Upon arrival the house was super clean and stocked with everything we needed—including shampoo, conditioner and body washes in all the bathrooms!We loved the location to the beach and all the restaurants. We cancelled our car rental because walking was so easy. Lots of towels and the beach cart and all accessories were really nice. And the pool was a hit as well when we wanted easy quiet downtime.We would definitely come stay again! And anxious to see all the additions happening after the hurricane damage—but that sure didn’t deter one ounce from our experience!

Fort Meyers beach

this place was perfect for our family , short walk to the beach, close to restaurants, plenty of room. Our host , Lauren was so responsive to our needs. Made our stay so easy. Couldn't be better!

Our blended family group of 4 adults, 4 kids with a wide range of ages had a blast, from the pool to the beach and nearby activities. The quality of everything in the house is top notch. Host Lauren is very responsive!

Salty Air Retreat

Salty Air Retreat was the perfect rental for our family! The house is super nice, well stocked with anything you need from Kitchenwares to towels to games. Beach chairs, umbrella and Wagon all made the short walk to the beach a breeze! The location is PERFECT! We would definitely return to this little slice of paradise! ❤️

Great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of life and just relax. The beach is a 3 min walk. The host has everything you need for the beach at the house. Everything very convenient. Highly recommended.

Greatest Time and experience at Salty Air Retreat

My husband and I Booked this trip for our collage age kids and their significant others. We had a total of 7. Everyone was happy! Salty Retreat gives plenty of space for people doing their own stuff. We loved the coziness it was very clean and felt like home away from home. Lauren was so accessible and accommodatig This was a wonderful location. It was close to all the bars, restaurants and Beach. We had everything we needed to head to beach (cooler, umbrella, towels, chairs and wagon to haul) Pool and outdoor patio area was great we spent a lot of time together at beach and pool. Will recommend to friends and definitely can’t wait to return Wonderful memories for us at Salty Air Retreat!! Thankful!

Exceeded expectations

Pictures did not do this justice. The home is beautiful, spacious and offered needed amenities and more. I was nervous with a previous review about the a/c because we normally are very warm but the air in the home was very comfortable. The walk to the beach is less than 2 minutes just crossing the road. There are bars and restaurants nearby but far enough to still be a quiet street. Host was very responsive and accommodating.

Nice house and location

My husband and I stayed for 5 days/4 nights. The house was a nice house & updated very well from Hurricane Ian. Our hosts were very friendly, and quick to respond. We only had one issue with the microwave not working, which was fixed. There was plenty of room in each room in the house. The master shower was a bit small, but very nicely tiled, but we also had 2 other bathrooms to choose from that had larger showers. The only complaint we had was with the temperature we had to leave the thermostat at. It could not be turned down past 72. My husband & I usually keep our own home at 70. This may not seem like a big difference, but when it's 94 outside during the day, and 82 at night, it got a bit stuffy in the house, and made it hard to sleep because we were both hot. The upstairs didn’t cool as well as the downstairs. Overall, we would stay here again.

Relaxing stay

Place is great for a family to stay - plenty of room, pool and walking distance to beach, restaurants and shops. Kitchen fully stocked with everything you need to cook and grill, and plenty of gear for enjoying the beach (umbrella, chairs, cart, cooler, sand buckets/toys, towels)

Amazing home

My husband, his cousin and I spent 10 days at A Salty Retreat. The house was clean, comfortable and well stocked. It had everything you needed to enjoy your vacation, from kitchen supplies to beach wagon and chairs. The location was a short walk to restaurants and the beach. Lauren was helpful and great to work with. Will definitely stay here when we return to Fort Meyers Beach.

Paradise by the Beach

This paradise is a wonderful place to stay.....location..location...location. you don't have to deal with beach traffic as it is a minute walk to the sandy, beautiful beach. Short walk to Time square and Margaritaville. The beach wss hopping but not crowded even if the water was chilly. Lots of outdoor restaurants and beach bars and music filled the air. You can see the destruction fron the hurricane but there is plenty to do. We went Lover's Key park, Lakes park, Dolphin sunset cruise, pirate cruise. Walks on beach early in morning and moonlight walks as well. Lauren was the perfect host. She was very accommodating and even answered out call on Christmas day when the pool wasn't running. She walked me through how to reset timer and came out next day to check on it. The kitchen is well equipped as we ate most of our meals there. She provided luxurious towels for beach, pool and shower. Cooler, beach toys, chairs and beach wagon made our daily walk to the beach very enjoyable. The backyard with heated inground pool and palm trees was like a private resort.

Ft Myers Beach weekend getaway

The property itself is great, more than enough room for our party of 6 to enjoy. Great location in close proximity to beach access and restaurants. Pool was also great with plenty of chairs and room to lounge around. Only 2 complaints; Could have used extra paper towels, tissues, toilet paper…had to purchase some delivered while there. All other supples were plentiful. Upon arrival we discovered many dead caterpillar-like bugs inside the house so we had to go around and clean all of that up. Overall a great place to stay! Side note: It is very sad to see all the devastation from Hurricane Ian in 2022, hopeful everyone can rebuild sooner than later. Every single local person we encountered was kind, friendly and happy to see us and very thankful for our patronage.

Great property and location!

We stayed at this property from 9/4 to 9/9. We had a group of 8 people including myself and my husband, our four children, and my parents. The check-in process was extremely easy, and the owner reached out to make sure we didn't have any questions prior to our visit. The property was very clean and very well stalked when we arrived. Our family really enjoyed the pool and it was less than a 3 minute walk to the beach. We really appreciate that there were beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, and beach toys for the kids available at the house. It is about a 10 minute walk to Time Square where there is entertainment, food and shopping available. Overall the property was perfect and we hope to return in the future!

Great Beach House Next to the Beach!

We absolutely loved our stay at this beach house! We chose the perfect spot for a family vacation. We enjoyed the house, the grill, the pool, the kitchen, and all of the extra commodities Ron provides for his guest. The location of this house was also perfect low traffic and a quiet neighborhood but within walking distance to all kinds of excitement and only a few feet away from beach access!! The house was spotlessly clean and Ron was very accessible and considerate of our needs leading up to our stay. Definitely a great place to stay!

Awesome Stay and Great Property

Immaculate and neat residence for a week's stay. Ron was easily accessible and was prompt in communications. Overall very squeaky clean except for the front open mesh patio/dining room which triggered dust allergies for me and was down for a day. Pool was very good. In fact, the pool was cleaned without even disturbing us. Trash/Recycling was taken care of!! The kitchen was fully furnished and really enjoyable. We just had to get groceries delivered from near Publix if you want to cook on your own. Kids spent most of their time in the pool and enjoyed it a lot!! Overall, it was awesome and would rent it again.
