Overall stay went well. Went during an off time which help with traffic and overall amount of people. Weather was fantastic. There are so many options for restaurants in the area with fantastic food and drink. Upon entering home, we experienced a heavy smoker smell. We did reach out to Roelens. Mel came out the next day and installed air fresheners. This did help mitigate it while we were there, however the smell stayed on our clothing, luggage, pack and play, and blankets. Clothing we can wash, but the other items we are trying to air out. The pool was dirty our first day. Roelens addressed this immediately and had the pool company come out same day. The pool was still dirty subsequent days, but was better. Pool heater stopped working for a few days, but again Roelens and Mel addressed this same day. Had it not been for the smoker smell and pool issues, this would have been a great stay. I specifically want to thank Mel and Roelens Management for their attentiveness and speed in which they handled these issues. Walk to the beach is short and easy. Just know most of the beach has construction and will for foreseeable future still because of the recent hurricanes.
