Stayed at the Quality Inn a week ago for 6 nights for work purposes. The lobby is huge and airy and quite nice and I only saw the first levels rooms. The hallway felt claustrophobic with its low ceilings and narrow walkway. And the rooms also felt kind of small and maybe a little outdated. However, they were clean, and the staff was decent and professional. Best part of the place is the included, hot breakfast buffet from a variety of meats, to fruits and parfaits and scrambled eggs as well 2 or 3 varieties of coffee and orange juice. Also hot and cold cereals. Would recommend and stay again.
The hotel staff are very accommodating. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was very good tasting. The wifi services were fast and very easy to connect to. The hotel was close to shopping.
Read the other reviews as they are pretty accurate. Breakfast was the best variety of food i ever had where it was included. The lobby is nice and updated and staff are nice and friendly. The problem with this hotel is it was built 25plus years ago and the room i was in (106) was very dated. Original tile in the bathroom. The whole floor smelled like it was a smoking floor at one time or musty smelling. But the real problem is the creaky floors above you. When someone walks you can hear the creaks easily and they are quite loud. Stay on floor 3 or stay away.
I was there on business for more then a week, the room a great comfortable, the room has a microwave, coffee machine, fridge, hair dryer, good wifi and more. The hotel is also providing a restaurant with a great selection as well as a bar where you can order food pass 20h. The food can be a little expensive but it is very good. The hotel also provide washing room, vending machines, ice machine, a gym and computer with printers. The staff was great and helpful. However if you want proximity to the town center this might not be the best choice because you're gonna need a car or a cab to access town center. Hope this help !
Great staff, really good breakfast, conveniently located close to downtown. I would stay here again with no hesitation. Very fast check in. Did I mention great staff! It has the customer service I usually associate with a good US hotel chain.
Stayed for 5 days and we used the conference center too, it was great experience. The breakfast menu was great and lunch was awesome. The stay was very good and the conference facilities can be improved for projectors and noise from other rooms. The service was great. The room keys get demagnetized quite often. Maybe they need to change the cards with a chip in it. You can hear people waking above your room.
We chose this hotel because it was lower priced than the higher end hotels in Fort mcmurray. I was very impressed by the staff and the indoor atmosphere. The outside of the hotel looks like a typical rig hotel but the interior was very classy and clean. The rooms were clean and very spacious. Would definitely chose this hotel again when traveling to Fort mcmurray
The staff were so friendly and accommodating. They allowed early check in, late check out. The restaurant staff were helpful and cheerful. The hotel is older, but the rooms are clean and comfortable. I would recommend to others.
Needs many up grades and a strong refresh of decor and furniture. If you should book an executive room and have lots of luggage that requires a cart. Be prepared to take your luggage off the cart and carry your luggage to your room. Poor hotel design. If you want better value for your money find a newer hotel. Pros: - Larger executive rooms - Quiet - Good selection of breakfast items - Eggs made to your liking Cons: - Hotel design poor. Need to carry luggage up stairs if you book an executive suite. Not good if you have a ton of luggage. Need to design a way to use luggage carts all the way to the executive suites - Older with out of date furniture and decor - Had supper in the restaurant attached and found long black hair in my potatoes...grosssss - Slow to refresh breakfast items - Luggage carts need some TLC
An older hotel that works hard to keep up the décor and rooms. In house restaurant is a tad expensive but typical for hotel restaurants. Breakfast buffet had lots of options. Staff friendly - even bent the rules and allowed me to check in a bit early. This hotel is not in town but half way between the airport and town.
