Tucked away on a dead end dirt road, surrounded on two sides by the national forest, amazing nature views and lots of wildlife. It's a perfect place for a nice gathering or peaceful family get away! Full of as much fun or relaxing as you desire with your own private, unique, fun barn with A/C, pool table, darts, poker table, bar, refrigerator, karaoke, record player & stereo system. Relax in the beautiful hot tub, the double hammock on the deck by the trees & fairy/gnome garden, fire pit, red rocking chairs on the back porch & tree swings all facing the gorgeous sunset view. There is normally a mini lake out back that will return, but the water is low this year from a historic drought (the sights and sounds of all the wildlife throughout it now are just as refreshing!) Fish off the private dock, launch the double kayak provided by us to row directly out to Little Lake Kerr, or sit surrounded by nature with a glass of wine or ice cold mug of beer. Unplug and enjoy a nice family meal at the picnic table under your own private pavilion with a propane grill and a new propane griddle. Salt Springs Recreation Area and Run are only 3 miles away that pump in over 50 million gallons of healing, fresh natural mineral water daily, remaining at 72 degrees year round to float, swim, snorkel, and row to see lots of wildlife in the beautiful natural scenery as well as several other crystal clear springs within 20 to 30 minutes from here. Hike, take a horseback ride, play on the 125 miles of ATV trails through the Ocala National Forest or zip line at the infamous Canyons Zip Line and Adventure Park in Ocala. This cabin has all the modern amenities including central A/C & heat, but be sure to enjoy a cozy fire with the real wood burning fireplace and natural stone. Whether you're wanting to make wonderful memories or heal with a getaway from the daily hustle & bustle in our quiet, back-to-nature-stay, we're truly wanting it to be special and provided for you with this mind. For the 'big kids' have fun with the horseshoe pits, cornhole, football, volleyball, frisbee, and enjoy music with the blue tooth speakers. The little kids can enjoy playing with the mystical fairies and gnomes in the garden. Unwind beneath the majestic bearded oak trees, where the soft glow of vintage Edison bulbs and twinkling fairy lights creates a magical setting for romantic nights beneath the stars. We are pet friendly and have a fully fenced in property for the fur family members to roam - just add the pet fee to your reservation please.
