Manager responded to all my questions quickly. Very large space and right on the beach, one block from a beautiful park and plenty of restaurants. We felt safe in this neighborhood.

Perfect for our purpose

We arrived past our check-in time, so it was a bit dark. Upon arrival the exterior reminded me of a downtown New York. In front and on the side of the building there were homeless people. It’s not a sight you want to encounter when you are escaping the everyday life, but inside and during the day you can feel like you’re on vacation. Across the street there’s an ice cream/cookie shop and they’re open til late, which was very convenient. There are also other places within walking distance to eat with a pretty nice chilled nightlife. We grabbed our chairs and just sat by the ocean. if you’re looking for a relaxing evening this would be a free option. Aside from the exterior and first impression at night everything else was convenient. Inside we found ourselves with a very comfortable living space for the three of us. Unfortunately, for us one of the sinks looked like someone had shaved their facial hair and it wasn’t cleaned, as well as, I found a wet beach towel behind the bathroom door as if it was forgotten and just used. We don’t have pets, so I understand that the property is pet friendly and you will find such evidence like stained couch and pet hairs here and there. Had it not been for the hair in the sink and used towel hanging I would have given it a perfect score on cleanliness. I never addressed the issues with the host in their defense as it was practically a short stay.Our purpose was to come and see the parade. The host is very responsive, so no issues there.

Great location and comfortable stay

Located just across the street from a very beautiful, clean, and quiet part of the beach with nice dunes. The apartment was very spacious and comfortable. Jordan was super quick to respond and made sure we had everything we needed, even sending an instacart order when we were out of paper towels. There is some noise from the surrounding bars at night but not too bad. Overall it was a really nice stay.

Business

The location to beach was fine, within a short walk to the water, that’s where the good parts end to this property. You have to enter the room in the parking lot/alley of other businesses which after midnight attracts a class of people who were drunk or stoned or both. We had several unwanted visitors in the parking lot between hours of midnight to 4 am on 2 different nights, these people were extremely loud and unruly. Friday and Saturday night there is an Irish Pub within 30 yards of the property that transitions into a Club for young people with music that is extremely loud, so loud the pictures on walls shake in the property. The music began at 9 pm and finally ended at 3:00 am each day. I saw nothing listed about this club or the fact you enter into an alley. Overall the property is designed for people under 30 at max, people who want to enjoy the night life until early morning hours. By far this was a very poor description of the property, in fact it’s misleading, be transparent and inform your potential customers so we can make educated decision.

Purple Pelican

The location was very convenient being right off the beach, with a few stores and restaurants in the immediate vicinity. We did not rent a car and were able to walk most places we wanted to go. The weather and the beach were great! Definitely recommend this place and the hosts were very attentive to making sure our stay was a good experience.

Excellent place to stay.

Very enjoyable place to stay! It was so clean. The room was bright , had big windows. We loved the outside deck. The distance to the beach was only a few steps. You could hear the waves washing up on the shore from the deck! There is an adorable bakery just around the corner and an ice cream store very close. Bed was very comfortable. The host was very friendly , responded quickly to our request. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely book a room again!

Great beach getaway

This place is perfect for a family or a couple beach getaway. Inside was very clean and well stocked. The location is great. Non-crowded beach across the street, ice cream parlor downstairs, and multiple restaurants within walking distance. Access and communication with the owner was very easy. We had to park in a lot about a quarter mile away, but most things are walking distance so it wasn’t that big of a deal. The parking lot behind the condos was a little sketchy but in the end did not pose a problem. A couple items in the condo need upgrading, but overall it was a great stay. We will definitely go back!

Winter Get-away

Fort Lauderdale is a beautiful city and this property gave us quick access to the beach, the intercostal waterway and many good restaurants. Note, however, that the property does not have on site parking. You will need to pay for parking in a lot several blocks away. It was not an issue for us, but it may be for some visitors. Overall, a great visit!

Great location, some basics missing

This spacious, comfortable one-bedroom apartment sits over a storefront just three doors down from the beach. We enjoyed our stay, but the place lacked some of the basic equipage and amenities we expect at VRBO listings. Washing machine but no laundry soap. Coffee maker but no filters. Other kitchen basics, e.g tools (whisk, bowls), supplies (salt & pepper, oil or Pam) not there either. Large TV but no cable service. These missing pieces added some annoyances to a largely positive experience.

AMAZING!!! Great location.. 10 second walk to the beach. Beautiful property

Best spot in Ft Lauderdale by far. Beautiful place to stay. Very comfortable and clean. Just steps from the beach and various restaurants/bars and shops so no real need for a car. Great front patio for people watching and just hanging out on a beautiful day/night. Jordan is an amazing host. He left me and the wife a delicious apple pie for the Thanksgiving holiday. Highly highly recommend this property.

The stay was very enjoyable and the host was very responsive and Acomodating to our needs. One review stated that it was noisy there but we did not find that to be the case. Plan to stay there again next year.
