Welcome to Later, Gator, a thoughtfully designed two-bedroom, second-story apartment overlooking a peaceful Fort Lauderdale canal. Located on the upper level of a charming multifamily property, the apartment is accessed by its own dedicated exterior staircase and is the only guest accommodation upstairs. Inside, bohemian character and boutique-inspired details create an intimate retreat, while downstairs, a shared pool and canal-front setting offer a tropical escape just minutes from Wilton Drive.



The Space:

BEDROOM 1

The primary bedroom features a queen bed, TV, calming water views, and a dedicated desk for remote work, checking emails, or planning your stay. Thoughtful details and natural light create a comfortable place to retreat to at the end of the day.



BEDROOM 2

The second bedroom is petite but thoughtfully arranged, with a queen bed, TV, and cozy surroundings. It’s a simple, comfortable space designed to make the most of the apartment’s intimate footprint.



LIVING ROOM

The open living area brings together rich textures, bold colors, and plenty of personality. A deep green sofa and two burnt-orange lounge chairs provide comfortable seating around a large Smart TV, creating an inviting spot for movie nights or relaxing after a day exploring Fort Lauderdale.



KITCHEN

The kitchen is compact but fully equipped with the essentials you need for your stay. Whether you’re making morning coffee, preparing breakfast, or cooking dinner at home, you’ll have cookware, dishes, appliances, and everyday basics within easy reach.



INDOOR/OUTDOOR DINING ROOM

One of Later, Gator’s most distinctive spaces is its enclosed indoor/outdoor dining room overlooking the canal and tropical grounds below. Screened walls and a solid covered ceiling create a breezy, light-filled space that feels connected to the outdoors while remaining part of the apartment. Enjoy your morning coffee with a water view, settle in for a slow breakfast, or wind down over evening drinks as the day comes to an end.



BATHROOM

The two bedrooms share one full bathroom with a light, airy feel.



SHARED POOL, CANAL & OUTDOOR SPACE

Downstairs, you’ll have access to the property’s shared tropical outdoor spaces, including the pool and canal-front setting. Take a refreshing swim, settle into a lounge chair beneath the trees, or spend some time by the water between trips to the beach and Wilton Drive. Please note that the pool and outdoor areas are shared with guests staying in the other accommodations on the property. You should expect to occasionally see or interact with other guests while enjoying these space

Later, Gator itself is completely private to your reservation and is the only guest accommodation located on the second story.



With Wilton Drive just minutes away, Later, Gator offers a cozy canal-side home base for travelers who appreciate creative design, intimate spaces, and easy access to some of Fort Lauderdale’s best dining, nightlife, and beaches.



GOOD TO KNOW

Second-Story Access: Later, Gator is located entirely on the second story and is accessed by a dedicated exterior staircase. There is no elevator, and stairs are required every time you enter or leave the apartment. Please keep this in mind when booking, particularly if anyone in your group has limited mobility or difficulty with stairs.



Multifamily Property & Shared Amenities: Later, Gator is one of several separate guest accommodations located on the same multifamily property. Your apartment is completely private to your reservation; however, the pool, canal-front area, and outdoor spaces downstairs are shared with guests staying in the other units. You should expect occasional activity and noise in these common areas.



Pool Service: The pool is professionally serviced 1–2 times per week to maintain water quality and cleanliness. A technician may briefly access the shared outdoor areas during your stay to complete routine service.



Mature Trees & Pool Debris: The property is surrounded by beautiful mature trees and tropical landscaping, so you may occasionally notice leaves or other natural debris in the pool between professional services. This is a normal part of the outdoor environment and does not affect the cleanliness or safety of the pool.



Canal-Front & Tropical Environment: Later, Gator is located directly along a South Florida canal and surrounded by tropical landscaping. Insects, lizards, and other small wildlife are a natural part of this environment and may occasionally be seen despite regular professional pest control.



Humidity & Environmental Odors: As with many older canal-front properties in South Florida, occasional odors related to humidity, weather, or the surrounding environment may be noticeable, particularly during warmer months.



Parking: One parking space is reserved for your stay. If you plan to have more than one vehicle, please confirm additional parking availability with your host prior to arrival, as additional spaces are not guaranteed.



Pets: Pets are welcome for a $90 fee per pet. Please keep pets leashed whenever they are in the shared outdoor areas and pick up after your pet throughout the property.



Early Check-In & Late Check-Out: Early check-in and late check-out may be available for $25 per hour, subject to availability. Because availability depends on our cleaning and reservation schedule, we typically cannot confirm these requests until the day of arrival or departure.



Luggage Drop-Off: Unfortunately, we’re unable to accommodate luggage drop-offs or storage outside of your confirmed check-in and check-out times.
