No heat

Ft Lauderdale had unseasonably cold weather the weekend we were there. The heater did not go on. Host informed us by email that a mechanic could not come and we had no choice but to leave that same evening. The house was freezing. We wore our winter coats the entire time I was trying to contact VRBO and the host The laundry room has an unmarked step down at the edge of the washer dryer. I fell and hurt my knee. I did not use the machines after that. The sliding doors are very old and difficult to open. The outdoor area had debris. All in all unpleasant experience. I am requesting a refund.

Nice home besides having bed bugs

The home is beautiful but on the first night one of my friends got bites on her legs, day 2 we contacted the owner with out suspension asked for sheets for her bed then the third night the bed bugs where everywhere even in the living room. We asked for a full refund and still waiting on 340 from them.

Worst rental

From the start we had issues: The pool looks dirty, felt disgusted to even go in. It looks as if there are a bunch of algae spots but without it actually being algae. Although I was assured that it is normal due to its age by the host. It needs to be repaired and refinished as some of the areas were peeled off completely as well. The backyard is infested with lizards and Iguanas. I get this is normal for Florida, but seeing multiple Iguanas hanging in the backyard and a bunch of lizards made my family terrified. We had never encountered this much wildlife in any other FL properties. Especially with little ones, once they saw these lizards in the house, they didn't even want to stay at the house, let alone sleep over. Found a camera pointed to the pool. Nothing was said by the host of having any cameras. The sliding doors are very hard to open and I couldn't even lock it. In fact, there was a wood next to it, which may be used for locking it by placing the wood between the door and the wall. AC was set at 74 but was 80 inside. I took a picture of the thermostat and sent it to the manager. But at this point, there was just too many things wrong with the property and we left within 2 hours of checking in. The next day, the hosts calls and tells me AC is fine and he had to waste money by getting it checked and blamed the issue to maybe having doors or windows opened. I had just arrived, doors and windows were locked. Maybe the weather got cooled over night and by the time the AC guys showed up early in the morning, it went down to 74. Regardless, the host was very unprofessional and rude.

Great place to stay. Worked out perfect for our trip to Florida for F1. Place is as advertised

The property is how is in the listing, if not better in person. The pool was nice but not heated, but the temperature of the water was really refreshing even at night. The place was clean and well kept.

Beautiful property. So peaceful

Our stay was very relaxing.. even though the property is in a neighborhood, you feel very secluded. Sitting out by the canal out back with the pool was just very serene and relaxing. A few updates do need to be made .. like the outdoor furniture needs some new cushions , blinds need to be replace and some of the doors were difficult to open.. beds weren't that comfy But other than that It was perfect. When walking into the home it was spotlessly clean and was so welcoming. We will definitely be booking again.

misleading at best

it said luxury - at best it was a low-class motel. Blind were broken, no real window treatment (sun comes up early on vacation) linen was kinda gross, cigarette butt, moldy & ripped outdoor furniture, hairs by the sink- get the idea....?
