Felt Deceived

When pulling up to the property, i immediately felt deceived when looking from the outside of the home to the inside. However, first impression on the inside of the home was - it kinda resembles the pics posted on the VRBO app/site. As i went further into the home, i became more entune wifh the home. I did not like what I saw and expressed it to owner. Nothing was done but owner saw message a day later and stated he/she stated they’d take care of it. There is also a pest problem.

False Advertisement

The house was a mess when we got there. Dirty bathroom, multiple beds were covered in makeup and sheets were dirty. Bathroom trash cans were full of trash. The couches advertised were not up to par for my liking. The place was not as advertised. Albert called house keepers to clean the place while we were there at 8pm at night. Albert told me he would accommodate me since we had ran into this problem and he has blocked my phone number and not reached back out to me.

Roach infested, Poor Host Experience, Unclean property

- 1 hour delay at check-in- Dirty pool & spider webs everywhere- Ants in the bed every night- Roaches in fridge, cabinets, and bed- Kitchen lights stopped working- Host responsive but never addressed roaches- Wrongfully accused of damageFull Review:After a 14-hour drive, we had to wait an hour past check-in. The pool was dirty, spider webs covered windows, and we dealt with ants in the bed every night. Roaches were in the fridge, cabinets, and even in bed next to a sick guest. Kitchen lights failed, and though the host (Katrina) was responsive, the roach issue was never resolved. I have never slept with roaches until this property. We’re now being blamed for a broken chair that was already damaged. The home was not clean or guest-ready. Very disappointing experience.

Reserved the property for a sports tournament we were attending. Communication leading up to the day was mediocre. We didn’t receive the check in information till 5pm on the dot. Surface wise the house looked clean, but the floors were a tad dirty, our feet got dirty quickly walking around the house. Not a complete deal breaker. The door was hard to lock, had a mind of its own, we had to lock the front and go out the back and leave a door unlocked just to secure the front. Overall, it was a no fuss, no muss house. We were able to fit our families. It did most of what we rented it for: to sleep. The pool wasn’t used much. Bring your own toilet paper, garbage bags, and towels. There just wasn’t enough. The laundry facilities helped. We did contact someone about the lock but was told to just use the code. We were lol. Anyways, it was affordable and convenient to get to beaches and shopping.

Host canceled without notice

Property looked great based on photos. The host canceled the reservation and pretended it was a technical glitch. Left us scrambling to find last minute accommodations less than 3 hours before arrival. Very disappointing!
