Went the last day they were open, could not have been a nicer or courteous staff. Helped us with our travel difficulties, and went the extra mile multiple times to make our stay as nice as possible as the country goes crazy.

Fortunately the view and room were excellent but hiking across the street to park, having to drag your luggage or yourself up a long wooden ramp to gain access into the building, a series of holes (looks like ground zero, no kidding), and having to use the public beach because the construction has their beach access closed. The staff did what they could, and I told them we'd try again if and when their construction is over......

Spacious! Staff is congenial through the renovations, and accommodating to help make your stay as best possible.

SADLY TO SAY THE HALLWAYS SMELL LIKE SHIT!!!! HALLWAY CARPETS THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE GREEN THEY WERE BROWN THERE WERE SKID MARKS ALL OVER THE PLACE.... STAFF WAS OKAY.. IT'S A DISGRACE WHEN YOU HAVE TO COME IN THROUGH THE FREIGHT/CONSTRUCTION ENTRANCE FOR CHECKING INTO YOUR HOTEL. sad that you don't have a beachfront in the hotel is under construction with that noise (7am ) and watching them trying to fix a swimming pool with whatever else they were was doing this place is a disgrace.the only day that they were nice the day we checked out... (To save face) to accommodate a but it was too late ..UNACCEPTABLE debris falling all over the place from the renovations. Suggestion stay the f away from this place simple as that..

Location, price were right on. Cleanliness and staff were great! Cannot wait until remodel is completed.

I reserved a king size bed and was given small queens. Hotel hallways and elevators were extremely hot. We had to park across the street in a dirt lot. Rooms are not cleaned daily and was already dirty when I checked in.

I liked that I was able to get a partial refund from Orbitz. What I didn’t like, the hotel was under a total construction. But their website advertise all these great amenities & ext.... that weren’t available while the construction is happening. Not even the beach could be used.

This is a good location for a quick beach weekend and very convenient to the expressway and turnpike. The only downside to this hotel is they are going through major renovations so if you're looking for the 'resort-like' feel, you may want to stay at another hotel or in your room with a nice oceanview. Staff was very accomodating and welcoming.

It was right next to the beach. Didn’t like the renovations going on.

We stayed in a cute little 2 bedroom Villa. Easy access to the beach, bar and restaurant on site, two pools, one of which was right outside of our Villa. We had a great time although we only stayed one night.

Cozy a jewel on the beach good rates. I think when it is remodeled it will be beautiful but will hurt the current clientele because I’m sure the rates will sky rocket The staff has always been helpful and polite. Cynthia has always worked hard to please everyone and always so warm and friendly. She is an Asset to the hotel

Property was dirty and old. Nothing works phone, safe and key cards. Made 4 trips to desk about keys. Furniture was old and outdated. Staff abrasive. Was given a late check out due to all the issues and then management came to room to escort me out. Really!!!!!

We stayed for a weekend (one night) and we had a great time. The hotel itself isn’t modern, however it has a homey/tropical feel that we loved. The rooms are standard, nothing special but we weren’t really bothered since we spent most of our time outside anyway. The pool area is great, the lounge area was a pleasant plus and the beach area is very nice. The beach wasn’t crowded at all, and staff was friendly. The reason for not giving this 5 stars is due to the bartenders/drinks. One bar tender was really rude and the other just didn’t seem to care we were there. Felt rushed and a bother. One of the waitresses liked a spilled drink off her hand, a male bartender refilled the fruit garnish tubs with his bare hands (without washing first), the female bartenders hair was messy, long and not tied up. Major hygienic issues. Also, the drinks are not strong at all. Taste like virgins. Overall, would visit again but will not be spending my money at the tiki bar/restaurant due to what I observed.
