We really enjoyed our stay here while visiting Formentera. Our room was sea facing, with a great view of the pool and beach areas. The balcony was baked in sunshine and was actually too hot to sit out in, although it was a brilliant extension to our room. We had no issues with noise in our room, and it was ok but had odd furniture (such as two chairs extracted from the local retirement home) and it lacked power points. Staff were brilliant throughout the hotel. Reception staff were welcoming, attentive and helpful as possible. The ladies cleaning the rooms were always friendly and smiling and did a great job keeping our room spotless. The staff in the restaurant were very hard working and our waiter was always on the go, and the happiest bloke in the hotel was at breakfast who clearly enjoyed looking after his area of the restaurant! The beach side restaurant had a nice lunch menu, but it's a shame it closes so early towards the end of the season, meaning dinner wasn't served there during our stay. Food was generally good in the main restaurant, and a fairly good choice was available for both breakfast and dinner, although it does feel a bit cramped as tables are so close to each other. We took it easy for the few days we were on Formentera, so it was perfect for us to explore the local area on foot, or catch a bus to visit further afield. Note if you get the bus to catch the ferry allow about an hour as it's about a forty minute journey. Overall a nice start to our two week break in Ibiza.

All staff welcomed us back yet again and we got our usual room so once again we felt at home. Many of the guests were regulars too and greeted us, we all tend to sit in the same area of restaurant most of whom were from Germany but in spite of different language we all got on well with greeting each other at meals. Fantastic meals and choice put half a stone in weight on now got to take it off. Every where is clean and tidy. Room cleaning service every morning and towels changed every day on request also bedding sheets replaced on request. Toiletries etc. in shower room replaced as we used them, no need to take shower gel, shampoo or soap unless you have a favorite brand. Free electronic safe this visit along with free reliable wi-fi in rooms as well as other areas. Negatives, we have none. Lost count of number of visits to Riu la Mola. We tend to make Rui hotels our first choice and this is the best of those we have used. Thank you all of you working for Riu.

Went with Thomsons, got the coach at airport to the port, rep at port, to get you on ferry, on the other side there was a rep to get you on your coach to your hotel, all went perfectly, same for the way back .Stayed from 29th September for one week, we stayed in room 214, which was over looking the pool and had sea view, and was lovely looking out at the sea , and great view of the lighthouse at night, with the sound of the sea, this was so relaxing, the room was a good size,and cleaned everyday, the breakfast and dinner meals were very good, all the food had good taste, and plenty of choice, restaurant staff were helpful, friendly, and checked regularly that everything was ok. There was a man doing aerobics in the pool every day at 11.30, he was fantastic, he had 30 people in the pool everyday, he was very personable, funny and was a great teacher. The reception staff were always friendly, and helpful, always had a warm friendly smile. Negatives: considering this hotel had so many positives for us. The stairs are a bit steep, going up to dinner and breakfast, were hard going, when your unfit .The maid come everyday, and did a great job, it would of been nice to have the room cleaned even just once before 2.30.We would definitely go back, but for 2 weeks next time.

The hotel is in a very beautyful place and they have very very beautyful sunset terrace.Hotel room was ok, with a little disturbing smell. It was a very big disappointment that they don't serve fresh juices in the morning for the breakfast. Everything with mixt of sugar. Its amazing,that the water is not included with in the "medio pension"dinner.We have been traveling a lot and it have always been included in a 4 star hotel. The buffet food was very often very very over salted. The cleaning lady left our door open :( We where not happy with the food there and that's why we never plan to go back or recomend this for others.Not good value of the price and quality.

Positive: - room is not small - bathroom is modern and well equipped - good wifi Negatives: - no cotton case for blanket. You have to use bed sheet and fleece blanket above it, so uncomfortable. - too few towels. 2 per person. So i have to use hand towel if i wash my head and this is in 4 star hotel... - bed linen are old and with spools - long narrow pillows, absolutely uncomfortable - no free drinking water in the hotel even no water dispenser in gym - no free water at the dinner, you have to pay 2 eur for a bottle of water and 3,20 eur in the room - flies in the restaurant which are sitting on the food. No wash stand to wash hands or fruits in the restaurant. - our room on the ground floor was near the swimming pool and when we opened door to terrace people were very close to our room. Also they are asking in the brochure not to dry towels at the terrace because it is not esthetic. Where else should i dry towels and my clothes? - at the beach sheslongs aren't free - beach and sea has a lot of stones and it is uncomfortable to walk in - staff at the restaurant don't speak english - asked for an iron, it can be taken from reception by ourselves and no ironing board is available - no tea kettle in the room - 10 eur deposit for beach towel. Generally good room but a lot of things that should be in the 4 star hotel aren't available. Overall impression that they want to charge you additionally for each and everything. I wouldn't stay in this hotel again.

We had a bad experience, first the hotel smells horrible, the rooms etc all smell like sweage. We had to wait a long time at the lobby and there is not a coffee or anything that you can take there unless you go all the way to the pool that is far. Then the costumer service was not good, they didnt try to accomodate us even though they had room. Overall it is beautiful but over priced, wouldnt recommend.

Stay for 2 weeks breakfast an dinner. The service was very good, hotel tried to solve and help with any problem . food was excellent and fresh. Daily variations so there was plenty tot discover. Fish, fruits of all sorts. Desserts a real treat and again variation. Personal service was great so you felt athome.

Fabulous location on a lovely beach, this is a well run hotel that's immaculately presented and with brilliant staff who can't do enough to make your stay the best. The hotel is in a peaceful part of the island, but is well connected by the hourly L2 bus that runs all day and makes exploring easy and affordable too. It's on a beautiful sandy beach which is great for swimming, there's also plenty more sandy beaches and coves to explore in walking distance too. We stayed half board and the restaurant was very good. During the day the beach / pool side snack bar serves a good range of quality food and drink at reasonable prices too. We upgraded to a sea view room and would certainly recommend it, the view was great and we ended up in a peaceful area of La Mola 2 - the block of the hotel furthest from the beach and pool area. One thing that could be improved, with three swimming pools it would be great if one was adults only. Overall, highly recommended....would love to return.

My family and I have been coming to this hotel for over 20 years. It has kept all its good attributes (location, small, family friendly) and after a full renovation around 2014, it is now more modern and convenient. Simple but stylish rooms and common areas offer a great place to have a wonderful experience. The staff is very friendly and goes the extra Mille to make you feel great. The food offering is "reasonable" for a hotel of this size.

It was the second time we stayed in this hotel. Everything was perfect. The service was perfect, the room very comfortable, the pools (yes, there are two pools now) were very nice, the food incredible and the beach was superb ... Oh, I almost forget the entertainment... Impossible to forget how well they make your stay even funnier!!! Don't miss the white party by the pool!! In summary, great, great, great!! Congrats to the Direction of the hotel and also to Riu for this incredible resort!
