Quiet and Quaint German Farmhouse close to Baden-Baden

Manuela's home was very well appointed with lots of little extras like spices, board games, books, and toiletries. She has decorated the space with care and attention, giving the suite a warm, country cottage feeling. The beds were very comfortable and both bedrooms had excellent views of the surrounding area. The kitchen was clean and welcoming, the living area cozy with warm throw blankets and candles to make it feel like home. The property itself is conveniently located near national parks and Baden-Baden (definitely visit the spas and baths there - worth every penny, especially the sauna area). Plenty of nature-based activities and charming German towns to explore. We rented a vehicle and it made getting around very easy, though if you're relying on public transportation, it may be a bit more challenging to see everything in the surrounding area. Manuela was kind and full of information about things to see and do in the region. Would definitely stay again if ever back in the area! We were two adults but the space would definitely be great for families with kids as well.

Peaceful retreat

The beds were comfy and the space was clean. There were also plenty of games for the kids to play. The hosts have some loving dogs, a friendly horse, a pony, and some chickens. If you have any issues with the smell of farm life or with narrow stairs this property may not be for you. The locals were friendly and willing to help when called upon as were our hosts. The location is secluded and tranquil. There is a trailhead nearby with a park. You are also a short drive away from several major towns and Black Forest attractions, just make sure you budget drive time into your schedule so you don't try and pack in too much. There is a ski lift located adjacent to the property if you are staying during the winter. Great place for a family escape.

Der Aufenthalt war sehr schön. Das Raumangebot in der FeWo war absolut ausreichend, nach unseren Maßstäben großzügig. (2 sep. Schlafzi., ein Wohnzi., eine Küche, ein Bad, kein sep. WC)Die Lage ist sehr ländlich, in einer kleinen Siedlung zwischen den beiden Zonen des Nationalparks Schwarzwald. Uns gefällt eine solche Lage; wir haben bei Wanderungen im NP auch ein paar essbare Pilze gefunden. Es muss dem Bucher allerdings bewusst sein, dass so gut wie keine Infrastruktur, insbes. Läden wie Bäcker, Metzger & Supermarkt, in der näheren Umgebung liegt.

Die Lage des Hauses ist traumhaft – mitten im Grünen, mit viel Schwarzwald-Charme und einer wirklich schönen Umgebung.Leider entspricht der aktuelle Zustand nicht mehr ganz den Bildern im Internet. Der Spielplatz und die Sitzecke am Haus waren stark eingewachsen und dadurch wenig einladend. Bei unserer Ankunft war die Spülmaschine noch mit schmutzigem Geschirr gefüllt, und auch die Reinigung der Wohnung (vor allem in den Ecken) hätte gründlicher sein können. Außerdem scheint die Toilette gerade renoviert zu werden, worauf im Vorfeld nicht hingewiesen wurde. Auch der DVD-Player funktionierte nicht und einige Spiele waren unvollständig.Insgesamt eine tolle Lage, aber die Ausstattung und Sauberkeit sollten unbedingt verbessert werden.

Erholsamer Urlaub in ruhiger Umgebung

Kleine Auszeit

Schöne Zeit in Forbach

Wir waren zu zwei Erwachsenen und zwei Kindern mit unseren Hunden für eine Woche in der Ferienwohnung. Uns hat alles sehr gut gefallen, die Wohnung war groß genug und sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Betten waren schon frisch bezogen und alles duftete herrlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt umd hatten eine tolle Zeit. Anzumerken ist, dass es in der Ferienwohnung und Umgebung keinen Mobilfunk gibt, dafür das Wlan aber einwandfrei funktioniert.

Toller Urlaub

Es war ein schöner Urlaub. Beide Wohnungen sind gut ausgestattet und liebevoll eingerichtet. Es gibt viele tolle Ausflugmöglichkeiten in naher Umgebung (Murrgarten, Glückspfad,Tretboot fahren ,…) und auch im großen Garten können die Kinder mitunter auf dem Riesen Trampolin jede Menge Spaß haben. Die Ponys und Hühner zu füttern war ein besonderes Erlebnis für unsere Kinder und auch der nahe gelegene Bach und Spielplatz bot viele spannende Abenteuer. Die Kinder wollten am liebsten dableiben.

Alles was eine Familie zum Entspannen braucht!

Wir waren 5 Tage mit unseren Kindern dort und es war super entspannt, da es jedemenge Tiere, Spielgeräte und Ausflugsmöglichkeiten gab. Insbesondere die Ponnys pflegen und ausführen zu dürfen war das Highlight. Die Wohnung ist sehr gemütlich und naturbezogen eingerichtet. Abgerundet wird es durch angebotene regionale Köstlichkeiten.

Absolut familienfreundlicher Urlaub in idyllischer Landschaft

Eine tolle Fewo, super nette Vermieter, alles vor Ort, was man braucht. Die Kinder sind gerne und viel mit den Tieren beschäftigt, die Großen genießen das Abspannen im naturbelassenen romantischen Garten oder auf dem Balkon mit Blick in die Natur. Wer die Abgeschiedenheit liebt, gerne wandert, Natur pur sucht, der ist hier genau richtig. Und wenn man dann doch mal ins Auto steigt, ist man schnell an vielen Highlights des Nordschwarzwaldes.

Eine richtig gemütliche Wohnung

Wir haben zehn Tage im Forsthaus verbracht und uns fast wie zu Hause gefühlt. Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut, vor allem auch, wenn man mit Kindern verreist. Es sind so viele Spielsachen, Spiele und Bücher vorhanden, dass wir unsere eigenen gar nicht auspacken mussten. Das Bad war sehr schön und insgesamt ist die Wohnung gemütlich und sehr Kleinkind geeignet. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder! Auch der kleine Spielplatz, die Ponys und das Trampolin haben unseren Kindern sehr gut gefallen. Der Ausblick war richtig schön und die ruhige Lage sehr entspannend.

Tolle Ferienwohnung in schöner Lage

Wir waren mit unserem Aufenthalt sehr zufrieden. Die Ferienwohnung war urig-gemütlich, die Gastgeber sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir hätten uns gewünscht, dass die Bauarbeiten im Haus vor der Anreise erwähnt worden wären; letzten Endes hat uns der Lärm allerdings nur einmal abends gestört. Die Lage ist toll, lange Spaziergänge oder auch das Rodeln im Winter sind gut möglich. Vom Standort aus gelangt man in wenigen Autominuten in höher gelegene Gebiete, wo das Ski- und Schlittenfahren perfekt möglich sind. Für Kinder ist unheimlich viel vorhanden: Von tollem Holzspielzeug über eine bombastische Auswahl an Gesellschaftsspielen bis hin zu Malstiften und Büchern ist alles vorhanden. Schön war auch der kleine Spielplatz im Garten hinter dem Haus. Von uns gibt es gute vier Sterne mit Tendenz zu fünf. :-)

Grand appartement hyper adapté aux familles (jeux jouets DVD) très agréable. Il est idéalement placé au pied des pistes et des départs de randonnées ! Les propriétaires sont bienveillants et très sympathiques. Avec eux pas de soucis de communication. Leur jardin avec les animaux facilement accessibles a ravi toute la famille... On s est senti comme à la maison !

Wir hatten eine richtig schöne Zeit im Schnee. Rodeln kann man direkt hinterm Haus. Die Wohnung war gemütlich und es war alles da. Für die Kids gab es jede Menge Spielsachen. Hier ist es bestimmt zu jeder Jahreszeit schön. Wir kommen gern wieder.

Rundum wohl gefühlt

Die Lage ist wirklich sehr abseits aber genau das war herrlich. Die Tiere des Forsthauses sind zum knuddeln, besonders die Ponys und die beiden Hunde sind einfach unglaublich. Die Wohnung ist tiptop und hat alles was man braucht. Unsere Kinder vermissen schon alles
