This is a fantastic condo with outstanding views of the Folly River. Very quiet and serene spot to relax and yet only a short walk to all the restaurants and action at Folly Beach!

This river retreat sleeps four (4) people with 2 bedrooms and 1 full bath. Queen bed in the master and two twin beds in second bedroom. There are two flat screen TVs, complimentary cable and high speed wireless internet. The open living room/dining room and kitchen is a perfect gathering space for your group to relax and enjoy the natural light & beautiful view!

Turn of River community offers a pool and great dock for fishing, crabbing and slip rental. The dock, as well as your private screened in porch, is a wonderful place to watch the dolphins or sailboats go by. Enjoy a cocktail while watching the most spectacular views of the sunset!

A short walk or bike ride across the Folly bridge will take you to town and the beach. Explore the shops and restaurants, rent kayaks, paddle boards or just take a boat tour along the beautiful waterways. Historic Downtown Charleston is just 10 miles from Turn of River and there are so many things to see and do downtown as well.

Beautiful property

This condo is beautiful and extremely well maintained from fluffy towels, comfy beds, big beach towels and everything in between. The view from the screened in porch is so nice. It’s an easy walk or bike ride to Folly for tons for eating places and an easy drive into downtown Charleston. We loved our time here!

Great Family Vacation

We had a wonderful stay! The house was clean and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was well equipped with everything needed to make meals at home. Location is great as it is directly before the bridge to the beach; close enough to walk to downtown Folly, but quiet and away from the hustle and bustle. Drive to Charleston is under 20 minutes without traffic so that's another plus. Will definitely look to stay again!

Comfortable home--friendly, professional host--AMAZING view!

Best experience to date on VRBO. The home is clean and updated. The location is the best in Folly--you can sit on the back porch and watch amazing sunsets on the tidal river, but you can also walk to town in minutes or enjoy an afternoon on property at the comfortable dock and secluded pool. Parking is also easy and safe. The kitchen is updated and well equipped. The living area is comfortable, and the Smart TV is easy to navigate. Important for us was the wifi--very fast and so reliable. Lovely bedrooms, and we loved the traditional Charleston 'shotgun' layout that allows for privacy in the bedrooms, both of which are well appointed. The updated bathroom was much appreciated, too---great decor throughout. Arrival is a breeze, as is checkout. The on-site staff is friendly and always available--and so knowledgeable about the area. The host really sets the tone for a great stay--professional, fair, and really dedicated to making a great stay tailored to our needs. We were thrilled at the arrival touches and the well-stocked supplies. The washer and dryer were also nice bonuses. Can't wait to go back and enjoy more time on the screened porch. Thank you!

Great location and property

This is a great property. The rental unit fit our vacation needs well. Unit is conveniently located close to parking on site, up just one flight of stairs and felt fairly private for being in a building with other units. Furnishings were modern and comfortable, kitchen was well supplied, and it was nice to have a washer/dryer available. Outdoor patio space and screened porch was great to enjoy as well. Beds were comfortable and linens were good quality. There were TVs in both bedrooms as well as the main area. Unit was impressively clean upon arrival and we had no concerns with security. Management was responsive and helpful when we needed assistance getting a package delivered to us during our stay. Also, the new owner and VBRO did an excellent job taking care of a booking issue that occured when the unit was sold just before our stay. Owner was quick to follow up and adjusted appropriately. We will definitely return to this property for future stays and don't hesitate to recommend it to friends and family heading to this area. You cannot beat the location if you want to be close to the fun beach action, but retreat across the bridge to your own quiet space on the tidal river side as well. We walked over the bridge into Folly in the evenings for dinner, a treat or drinks which was so convenient! You are right in the middle of the main hub of restaurants, bars and shops with a quick and easy walk so you don't have to hassle with parking or worry about driving.

Awesome location, great condo. Loved it!

The location is great! Half mile walk to shops and restaruants. 3/4 mile walk to the beach. Probably quicker to walk than drive and look for parking. Condo was clean, well stocked and perfect for our small family. Screened in proch was nice for boat watching. Communication with owners was great. Property manager was very nice and helpful, a knowleagable local. 25 minute drive to Charleston and Fort Sumter tour. Took a great boat tour with local legend Captain Randy. He picked us up from the condo dock. If you see Nancy on the dock checking her crab traps, she'll explain all about how seafood is caught, and she'll throw a shrimp net for you. We highly recommend Folly Beach, and this rental.

Quiet & great location

5-10 minute walk (depending on how fast you are :) to "downtown" folly and to the beach. The condo was very spacious for our family AND quiet. It is located on a corner on the first floor. Parking is covered and the pool is a bonus. The kitchen is well stocked if you are planning to cook at all and there are several grocery stores just minutes away. Highly recommend this condo!

Everything about our stay was wonderful! We loved the cleanliness and layout of the property. It was beautifully decorated and was plenty of room for our family of 4. Charming condo with view of nature and tides along the Folly River

The property was as described when we arrived. It was a short walk over the bridge to casual restaurants and groceries were only a short drive away. Quiet view of Folly River and nature in the little tidal marsh from the back porch. Quality linens and comfortable beds. Perfect for a couple or one family, since everyone shares a single, small bathroom. We would stay again.

Dishwasher did not work, dishes in the cabinets had food particles on them because the dishwasher was out of order and dishes were put away dirty I have stayed at Turn of River several times and would rate this unit as below average for the facility

Superior view!

Those longing for a private, screened-in porch view of the sun glistening off of the water, marsh birds, and sailboats will enjoy their stay here. The décor and furnishings were comfortable and on theme for a coastal vibe. We had to wash our pots and pans with paper towels as no sponge or dishwashing cloth was available. Those with allergies to pets or dust or non-allergic rhinitis with fragrance sensitivities may experience issues due to the solid air freshener and rug in the queen bedroom as this property allows pets (or at least the owner has a dog). Finger smudges were on the dishwasher, counter, and porch window and the dining chair wood and benches had a layer of dust on them. The toilet needed to be plunged a few times due to low water pressure, and the icemaker in the freezer had malfunctioned, creating a large block of ice upon arrival. We did not contact management to resolve since it was a holiday and we were able to take care of these issues ourselves.

Phenomenal Experience!

An amazing first trip to Folly Beach/Charleston. My wife and I were immensely impressed with the food, history, and overall vibe of the area. We are already discussing our next trip back. While the layout and decor of this property are fantastic, the location might have ended up being its greatest attribute. Walking distance to anything you need in Folly Beach and a 10 minute drive to downtown Charleston. The communication from the property owner was above expectation. Highly recommend this property.

The PERFECT location

Already planning our next visit!

Traveled to Folly for a wedding. Originally tried to get closer to the beach but this location turned out to be ideal. Quaint, quiet and clean with a great view of the sound but not too far to get to the beach. Just a short jaunt over the bridge and you were pretty much there. Watch parking on the side streets though...earned us a big ol’ parking ticket from the city. Arrived the Wednesday before Labor Day weekend so we were able to actually enjoy the beach before the crowds hit. We were happy to be on the “other side” of the bridge though when it came to not fighting traffic to get to Charleston. Fantastic trip and awesome stay! Loved the decor and the atmosphere for our first Folly trip. We’ll definitely be back and will chose these accommodations again and again! 😊

We had a wonderful time during our stay at this property and in this unit. Communication with the owner and the property manager was top-notch. The unit is a short drive to the county park for beach access. The downtown area of Folly Beach is a short walk or bike ride away. We tend to explore new places when we travel. If we ever find ourselves heading back to Folly Beach, we'll book this unit again! Thank you for a fantastic week. We didn't want to leave.

Central and convenient location!

This place is amazing! My family decided to take a beach trip outside our norm (Gulf of Mexico). We really enjoyed Folly Beach, the Charleston area, and this unit. We will be back! The unit we rented was great. It was very well furnished, located within walking distance of Folly Beach center, and the Folly River water views were great to wake up to with a cup of coffee. Trip highlights for my family included Folly beaches, Morris Island lighthouse preserve, Charleston history, Boone Hall Plantation, and the low country food! Highly recommend taking the time and booking a trip here!!
