Kick back and relax at the 'Edge of America', Folly Beach, South Carolina. Our Townhome is located in one of the most desirable locations on Folly Beach. Waters Edge is a small community on the Folly River tucked away in a quiet cul-de-sac, yet a close walk to the beach or the restaurants and shops of downtown Folly Beach. Waters Edge has a community pool and dock for your enjoyment. Or hop in your car and be in beautiful, historic downtown Charleston in 15/20 minutes.
Our charming 3 BR/3 BA townhome is 1700 square feet. The home is tastefully furnished with hardwood floors throughout and features a private 2 car garage. The kitchen is open with all new appliances and has granite countertops. It is fully equipped with everything you will need to cook a full meal. The dining table seats 6 plus there are three bar stools at the granite island in the kitchen. The living room is furnished with a large sectional sofa. The living room on the main level features a 47 inch widescreen TV with ROKU, DVD, wireless internet and sound system. Just off the living room is a screened porch with plush wicker furniture for relaxing and enjoying the views of the river.
The three bedrooms are all beautifully furnished with new linens and each bedroom has its own bathroom. The master bedroom features a king sized four poster bed . The master bathroom has a Jacuzzi tub, standup shower and double sinks. There is also a 12 foot walk-in closet. Open the sliding doors off the master bedroom and walk onto a beautiful sun porch furnished with a comfortable lounge chair for a gorgeous view of the river and the marsh. This is the perfect place for quiet afternoons reading in the sun. The 2nd Bedroom features a queen bed, a twin bed and private bath. The third bedroom on the main level has a queen bed and full bath. We have two inflatable mattresses, ideal for the kids. There is also a pack n play. All bed rooms have TVs, ROKU and DVDs.
Folly Beach is a unique, small, eclectic beach town that features six miles of beautiful sandy beaches, excellent local restaurants, beach bars, and shops. The wonderful Folly Pier is 24 feet wide and extends more than 1,045 feet into the Atlantic Ocean. Go to the beach, enjoy the pier, relax at the pool, take a bike ride, hike out to Lighthouse Point, fish and crab off the dock or just enjoy fabulous sunset views from the dock under the covered gazebo from the bench swing.
This home is perfect for families or groups of vacationers. The home is equipped with several amenities available to all guests including: pack n play, high chair, board games, books, Bocce Ball, beach chairs, beach umbrella, beach toys, beach cruiser bikes, Ocean Kayaks (2), and more.

Family vacation

The whole family had a fantastic stay!! What a wonderful home and fabulous location!! We spent every evening on the wonderful screened patio. The family got use of the bicycles and Kayaks. A very well equipped home for a family vacation!!

AMAZING PROPERTY!

We were at Folly Beach with our family for my son's wedding. This home was amazing and perfect for 4 adults and 4 children. The house was furnished with everything we would need plus much more. The kids were so excited with the bikes and all the beach equipment. We have nothing negative to say. The property manager was awesome and so patient with all our questions. We definitely would recommend this to anyone. Sure hope we can return some day!!😍

The perfect place

We visited for a family wedding and wow, what an amazing place! This was our "quiet adults" place to relax and get away from the busy-ness of the wedding set up a few blocks over. Super clean and lovely furnishings - you can really tell this is a treasured, well-kept home. Super quick responses to the few questions we had on check-in day. Overall the condo was lovely and a mere 5 minute walk from Centre Street on Folly Beach and the beach itself. We saw dolphins frolicking by the dock too!

Clean, comfortable, convenient!

The property was extremely clean. The beds were very comfortable and the unit was well-equipped. Garage parking was very convenient. Beautiful views of the marsh and walking distance to all the bars and restaurants in downtown Folly. Walking distance to the beach as well. We didn't get a chance to use all of the amenities due to the unusually cold weather- golf cart, bikes, kayaks. Communication with Cat was excellent. My family had an excellent time here over Thanksgiving and would recommend this property to anyone.

“The Charleston 4”

The property was very nice and clean. There was easy access to places on Folly Beach such as the Morris Lighthouse, various parks and piers, restaurants and the beach. A wonderful time was had by all for a girls get-away!

Beautiful property

This property was perfect for our group of 3 couples. We each had our own bedroom and bathroom. The house was beautifully furnished and had a view of the marsh with sunsets we enjoyed out at the dock. We spent the majority of our time in downtown Charleston which was a short drive away but managed to frequent the very cool grocery store and gather some shells on the beach. Highly recommend.

Great Family Vacation

This was the perfect place for a family vacation for all ages. Something close for everyone. Within walking distance to eating, shopping and beach on Folly Beach. Lee was great, so easy to get in touch with if needed and so accommodating. Unit was clean, quiet at night for our infant in the house and perfect for our family. Everyone had their own space and bathroom but still had our together area. Thanks to Lee for making our vacation great. Can’t wait to go back again!!!

Folly Beach is great!

We have stayed at Water's Edge on a variety of vacations, but this unit was new to us. The owners were pleasant. The amenities listed (bikes, kayaks, etc) were all there and in usable condition. The pool and the dock are fantastic for vacation when you don't want to go to the beach. Everything was enjoyable overall. We recommend!

Beautiful Folly Beach property

We had an excellent stay at this property. Unit was spacious and well appointed-kitchen was complete with all the necessary pots, pans, small appliances and even a full array of spices. Complex was in a great location - walking distance to downtown. Pool and dock areas were awesome. So happy to find so many beach chairs and the bikes and kayaks were a great addition. Use of the golf cart was an added plus. Owner was very responsive to a few questions we had. The only suggestions would be to have a reference notebook on-site for how things work in the house, trash/recycling, beach location, parking downtown for the golf cart, things to do, etc. Also some newer towels and a few more for each bedroom. Overall a great stay!

Excellent location, Beautiful home

This is one of the nicest homes we've stayed in. The water view is beautiful--I had my morning coffee on the balcony, watching the sunrise. It's close to Charleston without being right in the city, which is what we wanted. The home and kitchen are well furnished; there are also spices, coffees, and teas available which was a very nice amenity. The kuerig works well. There is a Harris Teeter and Walmart not far from the property. I recommend going to the property first to see what's there before buying staples--there were plenty of dishwasher packets, hand soaps, and storage/trash bags there when we arrived so we didn't have to purchase these. There were 2-3 dishtowels and I wanted more so we purchased some and left them at the property for future guests. The beach, lighthouse, parks, and several restaurants (Rita's was our favorite) are very close to the property. The property itself is tucked back on a side road so you feel like you're secluded even with all the action of the Folly Beach area only a block or two away. The owner has Netflix, Disney +, Prime Video all available, so we enjoyed watching some Christmas movies which was super appreciated. Really, we wanted for nothing during our stay. The owner was readily available for the few questions we had.

Perfect property

We spent long weekend here. In town for family wedding. What a beautiful place! Nicely decorated bedrooms, bedrooms nicely spaced out. Plenty of space to spread out, hang out. Nice views of the river. Nice porches upstairs and main floor. I only wish we had more time to explore. Nice job!

Family Time at Folly Beach

The property was beautiful and was perfect for our six adults and two babies (1 three-year-old and 1 19-month-old). The children enjoyed the screened-in porch and the layout of the downstairs space made it easy to watch the children. The proximity to the beach and area shops and restaurants was also very helpful. We'd definitely stay at this property again!
