We arrived at this hotel a couple hours before check-in. As we walked up to the check-in desk Romulo (sp?) immediately greeted us with a smile on his face. He quickly learned our Portuguese was very limited, that didn't deter Romulo. He is also very friendly in English as well. The room we booked was unavailable but we gladly accepted a free upgrade to a beach front room. The view from the balcony can't be beat - It was incredible. The room itself was very clean and spacious. The two large balconies were a great place to enjoy the sights and sounds of the beach at all times of day. The wonderful balconies with the great view meant we weren't able to enjoy the rest of the room as much as we could have. The only downside to the room was the bed was quite firm. The hotel provided complimentary beach chairs and umbrellas. On top of this they provided beach service for drinks as well. This made it quite convenient as we did not have to bring any belongings to the beach with us. What looks like one large pool is actually two separated by a bridge. The pool was heated but could've been slightly warmer. What is really missing is a hot tub for the cool evenings. Similar to the beach you could have drinks and food and food brought right to you. The hotel also had a restaurant and bar on property. Unfortunately the bar was closed. Maybe this was because high season had just ended... maybe not. The restaurant was very good. Ali was our server on multiple occasions. While his English is not strong and our Portuguese is also weak we were able to communicate quite successfully. In conclusion this is a great hotel for the views and location. The beach and pool amenities are great. It would've been nice to have more than one restaurant on site but we were able to receive many great suggestions from the friendly staff. Romulo and Ali must be commended for how friendly and helpful they are to not just us but all guests.
This hotel was a big disappointment to us and not worth the money. Our first room was so old and grimy that we asked for another one. In the end we had to pay extra to have an acceptable room. The hotel is right at the beach, but the beach is public and was really crowded. Service on the beach is not great. During high tide the beach gets very narrow and you have even less room. They do not offer sun loungers, just camping chairs. We spent 12 nights there and spent just one day on the beach next to the hotel! Instead we took our rental car to a different beach every day and had a much better experience. Breakfast is quite nice, but don't expect any gluten free bread etc. Surprising for a country as health and body obsessed as Brazil. The staff is extremely nice and trying hard to be helpful! The best thing about the hotel in my opinion. We would definitely not visit again.
With spacious rooms with balcony and balcony to the beach this hotel has great facilities and very good kitchen has excellent meeting rooms and a swimming pool in the center with easy access to the beach
The great part is that it's right on the beach and it's clean with attentive service. The food is decent enough. No complaints and nothing special. We stayed in a suite, which had a small kitchen and was roomy enough for my wife and our son. The lobby always feels kinda deserted. There's just sort of no vibe and it feels like it needs a makeover. Same with the pool. We were there 10 years ago and it was the same. I like this place (enough to go back, obviously), but they could do a lot more to make it feel special and inviting by making better use of the space.
The hotel has good location, near the beach. The service at the kitchen could be better, the mixed egg wasn't ready when we arrive to have our breakfast and I found a dirty spoon. The pool was closed and the hotel contacted me one day earlier to inform and to propose a new reservation. When we get out of the room, the lights don't turn on automatically, the sensor is locate near the elevator. So it's automatically turn on just when you get out of the elevator, not the opposite, when you're going to get in... The sauna is locate inside the gym, there is no information about the sauna outside... We looked for it for a while so we decided to ask help for reception.
The service is good, even late at night. Rooms are confortable and the instalation make possible to make your own food if necessary. The view is amazing, great sunsents from the balcony of my room. Be aware of showering times, hot water might not be available.
Great location, confortable rooms, heated pool and sauna. It's a really good option to stay in Jurerê. I've been there already 3 times, always in May, during a yoga festival and always had a great time. In the same street you can also find other options to eat. They could improve the wi-fi connection though.
The hotel looks trendy from the outside but the location (the surroundings I mean) felt weird, is in the middle of a residential area, not bad, not good, just weird. The reception is big, with lots of natural light and the people are great (Brazilians are). The hotel is average at the most, everything works but this place is not intended to give you anything back, is just a place to stay, (maybe) eat and sleep, nothing more. It has a direct path the beach and that is the best thing it has because you're filled with anticipation of going to the ocean and leaving that boring hotel. Wifi works, elevator works, breakfast buffet is limited but food is ok, rooms are small but clean, the view is a major disaster for most rooms, specially when you realize that the location of the is place is a fantastic island full of beautiful mountains!! One thing that was very odd was the paying system, we had to pay in advance for everything, I've never had that. Is not that is bad or anything like that but is weird. I mean getting to that island is a long trip, especially if you're coming from europe, imagine a 20-24 hrs trip and then meeting some guy in the reception who's asking you to pay everything in advance plus some extra money for the incidentals, very strange. This place is good for families mostly I think, or couples looking for something vey relaxed and want to spend the whole day out.
hotel is situated in the end of Jurere Internacional so it will take to at least 15 min walking to get to the main restaurants and shopping of the place, perfect for family vacations and actually the main part of the guests are families, nice friendly stuff,
The hotel was quite empty and maybe this somehow affected my impression. There were at most 10 rooms being used - May is off-season in this region. Nice pool, good beach less than 10m away and courteous staff. Overall sensation is that this hotel needs some remodeling, especially in the rooms. I was holding a seminar in the hotel and the room has a very low ceiling, making it difficult for attendees to see the screen.
