Very good

The hotel is on the beach. Very comfortable. Staff is very helpful. No food except breakfast but common room is most comfortable and provides hot water, dishes and cutlery for use by guests. Vending machines available. Enjoyed our stay.

As an American, I was pleasantly surprised with the location. Having never been to Joaquina beach, this was an unforgettable one. The service was top notch, couldn’t ask for a better location, and everything was super laid back and easy to figure out. Will be coming again!

Great place to stay (directly on the beach)

The hotel is as almost as close to Joaquina beach as you can get, very friendly staff (we are English speakers with only a little Portuguese) and made us feel welcomed immediately. Very good car park if you have a hire car. No dinner restaurant but no problem, there’s a bar and restaurant directly across from the hotel and a coffee place next to it. You can even order in food from places in Lagoa and there’s a space to eat it. The breakfast is great, even the police come to eat as they say it’s the best in the area. Very good value for money - we had a sea facing room with a balcony - airconditioning was strong and had a fridge in the room, very useful. A key reason we enjoyed our first visit to Florianopolis so much.

Great for Travelers with a limited budget

The hotel is located on a beach. The hotel's rooms are a throwback to an earlier simple time (still uses metal keys, etc). But the room had free wifi that worked. Friendly helpful staff. The room had a walk out balcony with view of beach. Room prices are very low, great value for the money. Located next door is a restaurant with good food, reasonable prices and located on the beach.

The Cris Hotel is a wonderful, clean hotel. The front desk was super helpful from when we arrived to when we left. They were great to call a taxi to the airport for us. Breakfast was amazing! There were so many options! The location is fantastic! You are only 15 steps from the beach. Beach and ocean are beautiful! There is not much around...two hotels and a few restaurants but felt secluded and was great for a weekend getaway :)

Gostei bastante da localizacao e a estrutura do hotel é bem boa. Nao gostei do atendimento da recepcao, achei os atendentes meio rudes, nao fizeram muita questao de ser simpaticos. Mas deu tudo certo, e no geral, tivemos uma boa estadia. A praia da Joaquina é incrivel, vale muito a pena ficar la. O hotel poderia ter um elevador pra ser mais confortavel ou pelo menos ter mensageiros para carregar nossas malas. Mas valeu a pena, hospedaria novamente! O café da manha é farto, tem um horario muito bom e é bem completo, excelente variedade!
