I’ll start with the positive, the location is great. It is a walkable distance to the city centre and restaurants and some historical sites. As for the negative, walking into the apartment you can smell the dust. The apartment did not seem to have been cleaned, dust was covering most surfaces. You have spider webs and spiders dangling from the ceiling not to mention the amount of mosquitos. Waking up I was covered with mosquito bites. The bathroom by the kitchen, the shower is with the toilet, there is no separation between both. When taking a shower, the toilet and toilet seat get all wet and the shower door doesn’t close fully, you have run off water through the bathroom. Having a washing machine in an already tight bathroom, water from when taking a shower and electricity don’t go well. We were 6 people reduced to using one bathroom in the main bedroom. Keeping with the conversation on bathrooms, when taking a shower, the water goes from cold to boiling hot, and I mean scolding where you can’t grab the shower head in instances. You’d think it’s gowong through menopause. A 5 mins shower goes longer waiting for the water to cool down so you can wash off the soap. We burnt ourselves several times.
The checkout is at 11, we had a woman and a child waiting outside the apartment door from 10 o’clock, I assume to clean which is fine (I mean maybe not the kid) but they could’ve come by after the checkout time.
