The suite is just at the corner with Ponte Vecchio, on the Oltrarno river bank, in Borgo San Jacopo. The interior is 70 square meters (820 square feet): two bedrooms with a double bed (160x200), living room with a kitchenette, bathroom with shower. The suite is located on the first floor, accessible by lift or with common stairs. The suite is ideal for two up to four people. Linens , pillowcases and towels from professional laundry service. Oltrarno is the center of Florence on the left bank of the Arno river. It is the most bohemian and artistic part of Florence, where you can breathe the atmosphere of the genuine Florence. It is ideal if you are looking for a characteristic place that is downtown but away from the tourist areas.
The neighborhood is full of important monuments: historic churches, parks and important museums, such as the Pitti gallery, the Boboli gardens and Santo Spirito Church.
The Ponte Vecchio connects this area with the other side of the city and the Uffizi Gallery, Palazzo Vecchio and the Duomo are right on the other side. The streets of the Oltrarno are filled with fashion boutiques, jewellery designers, artisanal workshops, art galleries and typical markets. In the evening the area is populated with charming restaurants, cantinas and cafés where you can relax and taste Italian and international specialties.

Amazing Stay in Florence

Stylish apartment in ideal location

Home away from home!

This was our first trip to Florence and Cristiana made our stay sooo welcoming. The place is perfect with a view of the Arno River and Ponte Vecchio..close to dining and tourist options. Loved our stay here! Cristiana greeted us when we arrived and bid us farewell when we departed. She even ran to our bus stop on our departure when one of us forgot a cell phone on the side table. Beautiful apartment in an amazing location!

This apartment is close to everything, but is quiet at night thanks to heavy duty, soundproof windows. We enjoyed listening to the music coming from Ponte Vecchio in the evenings, though!

Beautiful apartment on the Arno

My second experience staying in an apartment owned by Cristiana. Apartment is lovely and thoughtfully supplied. The location makes it easy to explore both sides of the river. Cristiana is great to work with and provided us with some nice recommendations.

Christiana’s apartment is lovely, exactly like the photos. Incredible location and beautiful view. I minute walk to the Ponte Vecchio. Right next to shops and a supermarket, very comfortable beds and sofa. Christiana always responds very quickly. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Amazing location!

Steps away from Ponte Vecchio with small balconies right over the Arno, we very much enjoyed watching the various rowing practices, passing party boats, and amazing nightly views of Palazzo Vecchio’s tower with Ponte Vecchio in the foreground. In close proximity to Pitti Palace, Uffizi Gallery, and so much more, access to the sites was easy. We enjoyed listening to the nightly music performances on Ponte Vecchio from the comfort of the couches, and open screened door. Closing the door quieted the rooms nicely. The air conditioning helped cool us off after a warm day out. The washing machine and drying racks kept our clothes clean and dried. Though just one flight of stairs up, the elevator was very needed for my painful knees and for my mom who has difficulty taking stairs. Cristiana met us right on time at the apartment and gave recommendations for eating and groceries, and reserved a taxi for us on departure day. Communications were swiftly answered. A very enjoyable stay we (my husband and my 81 year old mom) recommend highly!

Best Location in Florence

Super location with a beautiful view of the Pointe Vecchio Bridge and short walk to city centre and all Florence attractions. Apartment was comfortable for all four of us (women) with all conveniences available. We loved listening to the musicians on the bridge from the little terrace.

Amazing, amazing, amazing!!!

We had the BEST time staying at this location. The view is the best in Florence right over the Arno River; it felt like you could reach out and touch Ponte Vechio. The checkin process was very easy and the place was extremely clean, spacious, comfortable, and stylish. We would love to stay here again. The host was so knowledgable and worked to accommodate us. The location was beyond perfect and so close to everything--6/5 stars; we had such a great experience.

Great Stay In Florence!!

Perfect location with the perfect host. Close to everything and yet very quiet and peaceful. Beautiful views of the city and the Ponte Vecchio. Right on the river. Fish jumping and shell racers rowing past. Cristiana, our host was wonderful. Met us at the apartment. Gave us a map notated with awesome recommendations. Do yourself a favor and stay here when visiting Firenze. You will not regret it.

Gem on the Arno

We spent 9 nights at this fabulous location at the end of November. The apartment is extremely comfortable, in a special location, and stylishly decorated. Located on one of the most upscale streets in the Oltrano, It is on the first floor with an elevator. There is an unobstructed view of the Ponte Vecchio and the Santa Trinita Bridges. We also had a view of the spectacular Christmas lights on via Turnabuoni. The apartment is walking distance to all the major historic sights. As we have been to Florence several times, this was less important that walking distance to many great restaurants and bars (in Italy bars serve Italian breakfasts of coffee and pastries) just outside the door of the apartment. The apartment is located on an scale street for very nice restaurants and shopping. The very large grocery store is steps away with semi prepared foods and anything you could possible need for self catering. The owner met us with a very warm welcome upon arrival; Waved our taxi to the correct address (in Florence they have separate numbers for residences and businesses); Helped us bring in our luggage; showed us how to use the facilities (stove, tv, cable, heat, etc.); And recommended some local restaurants and her favorite gelato shop. She was extremely responsive to questions that came up during our stay responding within minutes of our questions. She also arranged for a cab to take us to the airport upon departure and came to help us with luggage when we left. There is a fully equipped kitchen that we mostly used for breakfast and lunch. I felt like the apartment was very well thought out for comfort and convenience. I would highly recommend and look forward to booking this gem of an apartment on our next trip.

Best Location in FLORENCE

We returned to this apartment because of the memories of the comfort and magnificent views but also because there's never enough time to experience all Florence has to offer. Cristiana is so warm and helpful and the apartment is well appointed and very clean. Every need is covered and it is so relaxing to have a home to come back to at the end of a wonderful day of being able to walk anywhere in town. Hopefully this won't be the last time spent here!

Beautiful view

This beautiful apartment was perfect for our family of 4. It had all that we needed or our stay and best of all were the location and the view of the Arno and Ponte Vecchio. Our host Cristiana was wonderful to work with and very helpful. She directed us to a great driver, Fillippo Azzara who arranged to pick us up at the airport even though we were delayed. Our homebound flight was cancelled and Cristiana offered her assistance. We loved staying in Oltrarno. After spending most of our days across the Ponte Vecchio, it was great knowing we could relax in our apartment and not have to return to the hustle and bustle where most of the attractions were. We found plenty of lovely, quiet restaurants within a short distance from our place. We would highly recommend this property and thank Cristiana for all her help.
