EL PALACIO Y SU ENTORNO

La antigua torre del siglo XIII perteneció a la poderosa familia Donati. Cuando decayó la fortuna de los Donati, la torre se incorporó en la segunda mitad del siglo XVI al Palazzo degli Albizi, una familia de comerciantes y banqueros florentinos que compitieron durante mucho tiempo con los Medici por la supremacía de la ciudad. We arrived and were immediately greeted and lead to our unit. It was absolutely a stunning apartment with a beautiful view. Everything about our stay was wonderful! The owners provided us with information on things we might need, places to eat, grocery stores, taxi, and other places we would need or might want to visit. The owners were exceptionally prepared and helpful. The apartment was beautifully furnished! The kitchen amply supplied! The beds were super comfortable and the rooms nicely furnished. This was the very best place we have stayed in for VRBO! It was very clean, roomy and was an excellent location! This rivals a 5 STAR resort or hotel! We highly recommend this owner and their fabulous unit!

We loved our stay here in this beautiful two bedroom apartment in central Florence, easily walkable to all the historic sites, lovely restaurants and railway station. We stayed here for 3 nights and were warmly greeted by our host Stefano, who gave us local suggestions for the area which was so helpful. The apartment was quiet, beautifully decorated and furnished with a lovely view from the balcony which extends from the master bedroom to the living room. Each bedroom also has an ensuite which was ideal for 2 couples. We will definitely be returning.

Great property in the middle of the city. Everything is a 5-10 minute walk from the front door. Numerous restaurants, cafes, plazas and shopping very close by or next door. The host are A++++ 5 Stars all the way !!!! Had fresh fruit, coffee, water and a bottle of prosecco for us !!!

Medieval, but make it modern and comfortable

A home that has been frozen in time but updated with modern conveniences. You can tell the owners were very thoughtful about the updates they made to maintain the historic features but ensuring guests have modern comforts.We really enjoyed our stay. The hosts greeted us and provided wonderful local recommendations for everything!Location was fantastic in the center of town and walkable everywhere. It is a private street that doesn't really allow cars, so there is some walking but nothing terrible.

Atmospheric, authentic Florence apartment

Lovely clean, comfortable and ideally situated for exploring Florence. We were very happy with the friendliness of the owners and even had a welcome bottle of bubbly which was a nice touch. The view from the balcony is difficult to leave and we would love to return

Great place to stay in Florence!

We were really impressed with this apartment during our stay in Florence and our hostess was very thoughtful and accommodating. She had someone meet us when we checked in and showed us around the apartment. There was a beautiful tray of cherries and chocolate in the kitchen along with a bottle of Prosecco and water in the refrigerator. The place was incredibly clean and wonderful modern bathrooms. We appreciated the washing machine as we arrived during a heatwave. The first night one of the bedrooms was a bit warm, but when we reached out to our hostess, she was very prompt in getting back to us to help troubleshoot the issue and the room was comfortable after that. We want to thank her for letting us stay in her beautiful apartment and we would definitely come back!

Great Soot to Stay in Florence

Great location and amazing flat

Very hospitable owners and it felt like a home for a week. Loved the accessibility of the location. Getting fruit and veggies each day, hitting a local restaurant and doing day excursions. Very safe location and it was far enough from the street that we didn’t hear the exchange students from University of Alabama partying. Thanks for opening your beautiful home to us!

Great stay in Florence

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Donati Tower! Stephon met us when we arrived and gave us all necessary instructions and delighted us with fresh strawberries, chocolate, and a bottle of Prosecco! Those were the best strawberries I have ever had! The apartment is beautiful and in a great area, surrounded by restaurants and a short walk to all activities. And if you like a hot, strong shower, this is the place to go! The beds were very comfortable with lots of pillows. And the elevator worked great! We were also able to get a taxi directly to the front door, and we were able to get an Uber black just around the corner for our departure. My son and I really enjoyed our stay! Thank you, Stephon! And I am sorry if I am misspelling your name. I can’t get to my original email right now to check it.

The best of Florence!

Gorgeous historic property with great location!

Great location with easy access to everything! Absolutely beautiful old building with all the modern conveniences you could ever need. They left us a bottle of Prosecco with a plate of fresh strawberries that were the best I’ve ever tasted . Beds were very comfortable. Highly recommend!

This apartment was the perfect place to stay in Florence. The hosts are incredibly welcoming and accommodating even with a young family. The view from the balcony is unmatched and a perfect place to unwind with some wine at the end of a long day. The apartment is well stocked and had all the comforts one could ask for. Firenze Family Trip

We stayed for 5 nights and loved our flat. Location can’t be beat, near everything. Quiet and yet in the hustle and bustle of the city. Views are lovely and the accommodations are pretty. Thank goodness they have an elevator because it was located on the 4th floor. Bathrooms and kitchen are all updated and clean and WiFi works great. Loved everything about our stay.

Great location. Clean. Spacious. Owners were very nice and easy to deal with. They provided a great list of restaurant recommendations. I would recommend changing towels and sheets every 4 days with a long stay. Overall, I highly recommend a stay here.

First Time in Florence

Our stay in this apartment was wonderful! The place is beautifully appointed, spacious, and well equipped, and the hosts are wonderful! The apartment has the old charm of Florence, but all newly done! The elevator was a definite bonus! Can’t say enough about the views from the terrace, so beautiful. Stefano meet us upon arrival to give us a tour of the apartment and all other pertinent information. He even provided great recommendations for food. He was available if we had any issues – which we didn’t! The location is great, very central! Highly recommend.

Great Location with Lovely Lofty Views from a Medieval Tower

We were so fortunate to stay in such an early building with views over such a beautiful historical city. The large balcony was very special. The location was convenient to all and still a great retreat when needed. Our hosts could not have been more friendly and kind. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay was to be found. Wonderful apartment centrally located

My husband and I stayed here with my mom. It was nice that it has two bedroom suites with their own bathroom and a good sized living room in between the bedrooms. All 3 rooms have lovely views - can see Santa Croce from one bedroom. The terrace was great in the early morning before it got too warm and again in the evening. The AC worked great, the kitchen is well appointed, and the bathrooms are modern and clean. The elevator is great and much needed for my mom who has limited walking ability. It was nice to be so close to so many great restaurants and shops. Would love to stay here again.
