I had a nice stay at Kingsgate. The property is old and dated but the staff is wonderful and accommodating. After I checked in I was informed there would be construction going on during the day. There were workers using the elevators and banging all day long for several days. I found that uncomfortable.

Good location. Nice view on the 8th floor. Bed mattress too soft it felt like I'm on the sea whenever my partner moved.
Many towels, big balcony overlooking the harbor. Room was not cleaned. The made knocked on the door around 16:00 asked if we want the room to be cleaned. Same happened to our friends on the same floor. They have complained at reception about the toilet being noisy, nobody came to fix it. So, a good nice spacious hotel in the center of town, has to take care of the little things too.

Fantastic place to call home while visiting Queenstown. Spacious, full kitchen, epic view (we had a Mountain View which still included lake. Room 27). Staff extremely on point. Location is perfect! A must stay!! Alex
