Fantastic ply to stay, central to shopping. Staff fantastic, very friendly and couldn’t do enough for you, Rooms where very clean and spacious. Buffett breakfast was to die for. Only downfall was we only stayed 1 night on our way to Coral coast. Next trip will be longer.
A very welcoming place to relax. We were greeted with so many smiling faces and "Bulas, welcome to Fiji". We were taken to our room very quickly making the check in seamless and smooth. Our room was large and very comfortable with a gorgeous view out to sea, it was overlooking the pool and palm trees, what a sight, simply stunning, one of the nicest parts of our stay, apart from the lovely friendly people at Holiday Inn, who were very helpful and go out of their way to make your stay a warm and pleasant one. The Breakfast Buffet is absolutely delicious, with everything from just toast to a full American Breakfast, well worth it. Our room was cleaned to very high standards every day, and in a timely manner. The location to the city is perfect for a stroll, very close, it is also right beside a walking track for those that like to take walks every morning. Suva doesn't have much to do in the way of tourist spots, most are on the other side in Nadi and Denarau, shopping is quite expensive and not much variety. Most shops offer all the same thing, however a perfect place for R&R
While the two best hotels in Suva are expensive due to limited options Holiday Inn has excellent staff that are all so friendly and obliging, most of whom remember your name and an excellent french chef!
Love this place, especially after the renovations Staff are great, food is on point and rooms are clean and comfortable Pools is clean and tidy, grounds great, and always fell welcome Thanks Holiday Inn
Very friendly reception. Beautifully clean room. Nice outdoor pool. Didn't book breakfast so not sure about food however just a tiny walk to a delicious Japanese restaurant Daikoku and other restaurants as well.
Great location close to town and right on the harbour. Lovely views and sunset. Rooms were very nice, very comfortable bed. Thanks for the upgrade which was a pleasant surprise. Staff are exceptional, very eager to please and friendly. Would recommend joining IHG for the little extras. Ate at the bar and restaurant and recommend the curries. Would stay again for sure.
Stayed here in September. The reception area was under construction so a bit chaotic. The room was clean, light and freshly renovated. The bed and sheets were so comfortable, and I Ioved that the pillows slips were embroidered with “firm” or “soft”. Staff were friendly and helpful. My husband was working during the day. The hotel is we’ll located. I would walk along the waterfront and also into town. Or relax at the hotel and read by the pool. I appreciate the option of using the on site self service laundry. The sunsets over the hills surrounding Suva Harbour were stunning.
I was here for a business trip and this hotel was very convenient to the office, but turned out to also be a very nice place to stay. Very friendly staff, great pizza from the wood fired pizza oven, and clean rooms. I would definitely stay here again.
My family and I had a welcoming stay at the Holiday Inn. The staff were very friendly and always helpful. The room was modern and clean, with new water bottles provided daily. Our room was away from the pool area, making it nice and quiet. The pool area was ok, however there were no beach umbrellas by the poolside for shading. Restaurant food was decent, with nice woodfire pizzas. The kids meals were hit and miss, however hard to complain when kids eat free with a paid meal. The location was good as it was walking distance into town and to other close by cafes/restaurants. Overall an enjoyable stay.
Good location close to CBD and fronting the water. Rooms are well appointed, and staff friendly if very slow in delivery. Easy to get around despite no lifts to second floor (at least in my wing) and no offers to assist with luggage. Mini bar is empty, and the selection of snacks is limited. Comfortable beds, nice balconies, and spotless bathrooms. Great simple functioning aircon. However, my experience with IHG properties: Intercon, Crowne Plaza, and Holiday Inn's across many continents leave me amazed at the charges for rooms, food, and especially beverages. And i do know the market, have been based in Fiji for 3 years. But the only hotel of similar standard (Grand Pacific) is even more expensive. In summary, wondeful place to stay, eat, and be well looked after. But it will be a bit harder on the wallet.
