Poggio alla Croce is a hilly center located on the top of the Florentine Chianti between the Ema valley and the upper Valdarno. The particular geographical position indicates that the fraction is divided administratively between two municipalities: Figline and Incisa Valdarno and Greve in Chianti. The territory is mainly hilly, alternating woods with olive and wine crops.

The apartment we offer is located in Tuscany in the beautiful and historic hilltop village of Croce in the province of Florence and in the municipality of Greve in Chianti and Incisa Valdarno-Figline Valdarno. It includes a double bedroom with complete linen kit, a kitchen-living room with sofa bed, complete kitchen equipment, a bathroom with shower and a complete kit for accommodation.

Great Host and Property

The host, Andrea, was so accommodating! Helped my cousin and I with Covid tests, where to go for gas, where to park in Florence, and anything else that we asked him about. He spoke very good English, which was so very helpful to us. The view from little gazebos on the edge of the property to Florence was breathtaking! The kitchen was well stocked, and so pretty. The beds(one a pull-out couch) were both comfortable. There is a place up the street to eat where all the people were nice and helpful and the food was wonderful. We didn't get that with all of the places that we stayed, so this experience made it all the more special! The drive to Florence was 40 minutes and Pisa about an hour on pretty good roads. Thanks Andrea, for making this part of our stay so amazing!
