Good service but both nights had tour groups which tended to overwhelm the breakfast area in morning, both for seating and access to food. Some same items with lots of luggage and tour bus pulled up right in front of hotel entry each morning. But staff and service both helpful and great.
Reasonably priced hotel, in a good location easy to find and only 40/45 mins away from Edinburgh air port 🛩🛩 Clean and tidy. Staff are nice and willing to help. Very small bar but we a good laugh with the night porter. Would recommend you stay here for short stays 🖒🖒
We stayed at this Inn, and from the moment we spoke to the receptionist , we realised what a great and friendly place this is , we stayed on the ground floor , room was clean , comfortable , staff are very friendly and could not do enough for you , we had met friends to go to a Ice Hockey match in Fife, and had a late night , got back to the Inn and had a coffee and the bed was great for sleeping , slept really well , shower was very powerful the next morning , The buffet breakfast was ok , ( could do with a little more selection ) but hey ho for the money you paid , can I mention the lady refilling the breakfast selection, she never stopped and was on the go all the time , Overall a great night and yes , we will return , Thanks to the manager and the staff for making our stay a lovely night .
Exactly what you expect from a Holiday Inn Express. Clean. Comfortable. Friendly Staff. The room was standard, bed comfortable, good WiFi access from everywhere in the hotel. Parking is right out front in a private lot and free. For food there is a nice quiet pub / tavern (not really a bar) right next door. Draft beer and food either inside or out in the garden. Good location and relatively easy to find.
Had lovely night at this tucked away Holiday Inn Express. The staff are very helpful and always willing to help find somewhere to eat out or get takeaway. Price is right too. Always stay here when travelling this way. Great for disabled guests too.
I know this hotel is a budget brand but.... the double bed sunk in the middle, the sofa bed may as well had no mattress on and the breakfast sausages were awfull! We had all taken the labled "pork" sausages but the tasted iffy. The woman clearing the plates asked if there was something wrong. We explained we hadn't liked the sausages so she proceeded to taste one from our plate and said they were just sausages! She came back out with the box to prove they were in fact just sausages, "Cumberland " sausages . That was really embarrassing! !!
Stayed here for 4 nights while on business. Was in a disabled room which was very clean and tidy. Room looked on to the beer garden of the restaurant next door. Nice to sit in on a sunny evening after a long days work. The restaurant was unable to accomodate all the party as 2 of the chefs had gone off sick. We were accomidated in a near by hotel for our meals. The attached restaurant had ran out of some lagers but had them back by the end of our stay. Dtaff always very helpful and friendly. Would stay again.
A Big Thank You to staffs at Holiday Inn Express Glenrothes for their help, to safe keep our backpack left behind. We also received an email to inform us of this bag left behind too. Appreciate your effort to help us. A clean nice room for a night rest.
This hotel is in a nice location, perfect for walking borough the park and short distance to the town centre. We used it as a base while visiting some family. Room was a nice size. Shower really powerful. Bed really comfortable. Breakfast was ok. It's the first time staying in a holiday inn and I'm not sure if this is a normal thing. But the buffet style hot food just didn't do it for me. The scrambled egg was bland, the sausages were tough and the beans were ok. Fried eggs/bacon could have been done in a similar way. Also, the coffee was not nice. Nonetheless, it's ok, if the premier inn is fully booked, I'd stay again.
Check in quick and friendly. Room was clean. Bed comfy and good pillows. Tv a tad small and kept putting subtitles on every time I turned it on. Could hear room next to me and above. Good sleep though.
