The location
This charming cottage is located in a peaceful rural setting. An ideal place to unwind from the stresses of the dark winter days. The only thing you will hear is birdsong. The small and still original villages Calonge and S'Horta offer several shops, a supermarket, a church and a couple of really nice restaurants. The resort of Cala D'Or, just 10 minutes away, scores with beautiful sandy beaches, a wide selection of restaurants, shops and the impressive international yacht harbor. The town of Felanitx, in the interior, with a lively weekly market on Sunday morning is 15 minutes away by car. Golfers will be close in 10 minutes by car to the golf course 'Vall D'Or Golf' is reachable with its great situated on a hilltop clubhouse. ,
The house
Salas Nou is a beautifully designed villa with lots of natural light, which has been completely renovated. The original house was built more than 100 years ago. It has combined the charm of the typical Majorcan country house with a wonderful mix of rustic details such as stone walls, high ceilings with wooden beams and is equipped with comfortable modern furniture. From the entrance, we enter directly into the living room with a wood burning stove. The open plan kitchen / dining area with a beautiful wooden dining table is spacious, bright and well equipped. From here, large glass doors leading to the terrace in front of the house. From the kitchen there is access to a double bedroom which has an en-suite bathroom with shower. On the other side of the villa there is a bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower. A guest toilet is located near the entrance. The upper floor has a double and a twin room overlooking the pool and surrounding area. These two bedrooms share a bathroom with bath and separate shower.
All bedrooms have air conditioning hot / cold with fixed operating time of 14-15: 30 and 22-9 clock. For winter lets a Portable is provided in the living room. Wood for the fireplace can be bought at Gartner land, supermarkets and petrol stations.
The grounds
