Former stables on a historic farm in a scenic location between the sea and the hills

CIN-IT074007B400023276
"La Casina" was created by renovating an old barn on the Casaburo farm, which has been in the family for generations.
The stone building stays naturally cool but is equipped with air conditioning and heating. It features a well-equipped kitchen, a shaded patio with a table and chairs, and a 2,000-square-meter garden, enclosed by dry-stone walls, for the exclusive use of guests.
The Masseria, situated in a panoramic location between the sea (ten kilometers away) and the hills of the Itria Valley, consists of a main building housing the manor house, old stables, a group of trulli with a large courtyard dating back to 1690, a large threshing floor made of local stone, and a shady pine forest.
Let us introduce ourselves: we are Luciana and Dodi, the owners. We live on the farm and love sharing the secrets of the area with our guests, pointing out lesser-known places of interest, small shops, local weekly markets, and quaint little restaurants.
At Masseria Casaburo, farming (strictly organic) is the main focus. Guests can stroll through its 27 hectares of centuries-old olive groves and almond orchards. We produce extra virgin olive oil, almonds, and carob.
The vacation home is air-conditioned and features a kitchen and a patio, and there's space to spread out with 2 bedrooms. Guests can expect to find free WiFi. The bathroom offers hair dryers and bidets. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a fireplace, and a coffee maker.

Authentic hide away

We enjoyed staying at the masseria. Although the apartment is quite dark (it's situated in the former stable) the adjacent terrace and the yard with olive trees give a sense of freedom. Luciana and Dodi are very friendly and willing to share their love for the area with you . W'll definitely come back and next time book the trulli. Ciao, Ana

Best hosts ever

Cant say enough good things about this place and especially the hosts. They are the warmest people you will meet. My wife and i stayed there for 3 weeks and they were so gracious to give us a tour of their olive and almond farm and invite us to hang with them and their friends nearby for wine and good conversation. The place itself was really charming and felt spacious with everything one needs. Having a dishwasher and washing machine was a plus. The back porch overlooks part of their land and spent a bit of time out there. They have several dogs, all friendly. The Masseria is very close to the town of Fasano which you can walk to in 20 minutes. Theres a market there once a week and others in nearby towns on other days. Recommend having a car to explore the region. So many great villages and only a 10-15 minute drive to the ocean. Definitely recommended.

Vi auguriamo una buena raccolta in autunno!

Tolle Gastlichkeit in alten Gewölben
