A luxurious and secluded mountain retreat, Woodhaven is one of only 4 houses located on over 240 wooded acres. 2,400 square foot custom-built log home with high vaulted ceilings, handcrafted railings, wormy maple floors, and a wood-burning fireplace! The house is also handicap friendly with an entry ramp, wide doorways, and grab bars in the downstairs bath to accommodate groups spanning multiple generations.
The large back deck offers plenty of space to hang out, a 4-person hot tub with mountain views, and a large fire pit area for those beautiful mountain nights! The location is 15 minutes from Chimney Rock & Lake Lure, 40 minutes from Asheville, & 30 minutes from Black Mountain, and sits at an elevation of 2,800 ft.
House Layout:
Main Level- Open floor plan kitchen, living, and dining room with floor-to-ceiling windows; Primary bedroom with a King-sized bed, Smart TV (Firestick) & en suite bath with a garden soaking tub and steam shower; Second bedroom has a Queen-sized bed and another full bath.
Upstairs- Loft with a Smart TV (Firestick) and a full-sized futon and sofa; Third bedroom with a Bunk bed with a Double on the bottom and a Twin on top.
Please note: Woodhaven is dog-friendly with a pet fee, but sorry, no cats. AWD or 4WD is required, and it is strongly recommended to arrive during daylight hours (if possible), especially upon first arrival. This home is equipped with high-speed internet, and the TVs are set up with Firesticks for streaming only (no cable or satellite). Guests are required to log in to their streaming platforms.
