The Cottage at Wintersun es una casa 4br / 3b 2000sf bellamente decorada ubicada en la finca Wintersun de 130 acres en las montañas Blue Ridge de Carolina del Norte, y a solo 20 minutos de la vibrante y emocionante ciudad de Asheville, Carolina del Norte y la finca Biltmore.

Para los amantes del golf de discos, la casa está rodeada por dos campos de golf de discos privados para que pueda jugar y jugar directamente desde su patio delantero. Book Club Getaway

This is the third time my book club has stayed at Wintersun Cottage. We love it for the location. Easy access to Asheville and Black Mountain. Also love exploring all the trails on the property.

Wintersun = Paradise

Reunion of hiking group

The property is beautiful! It is well manicured with lots of wooded area. We enjoyed the outdoor space as well as the comfortable inside. Lots of hiking trails. Certainly would stay there again!

Awesome Place to Stay

Group of us went to explore Asheville breweries and play some disc golf. Cottage was fantastic and had plenty of room for everyone. Disc golf course was awesome and the property was beautiful! Very well maintained. Would be happy to stay here again!

Lovely retreat

We had the best time at this property. The grounds are immaculate, the house is clean, and it feels secluded while being close to everything. If you like disc golf, the courses were excellent. And the on site hiking was wonderful! Loved it.

Peaceful location

We 7 cousins (all “seniors” in age only) enjoyed 4 nights at the cottage. Very comfortable, well equipped kitchen, walkable trails right at the back door. We enjoyed the Biltmore experience and lunch at the Grove Park Inn, both within 20 minutes of the cottage. We recommend this rental!

A unique experience I hope to repeat!

“I wish this place was closer to home!” was the most common sentence I heard during our weekend visit. We had a great time during our stay at this gem of a spot! Any time I’m planning an Asheville trip I’ll be making the extra drive to Fairview (and bringing my discs).

Perfect everytime

We do a guys trip to Wintersun every year for disc golf. The course is awesome and the cottage is always perfect. This year they had to deal with the hurricane and did a great job of clearing out the debris and cleaning up the property.

Favorite Family Vacation

This is our 3rd or 4th trip to Wintersun. It is one of our favorite places to come and relax.... The property is beautiful and we love hiking on the estate trails. We also love that we can bring our dog. It is nice to find a property that will comfortably accommodate a big group. We will definitely be back!

Disc golf getaway

We came up here for a disc golf bachelor party with my buddies and it did not disappoint at all. Property was fantastic and had tons of sleeping arrangements that suited all 8 of us just fine. Were all wanting to come back again next year. The courses were wonderful and definitely got some steps in from them! Thank you for letting us stay there.

Our favorite place in the mountains!

I chose to spend my birthday at this wonderful house with my family. It is our 7th time staying here. We love the beautiful setting and great paths to walk around the property. My husband and sons love the disc golf and our dogs love wading in the steam. We also love how easy it is drive into Asheville and the great communication with Judy and Susan, the owners. Can’t wait for our next visit!

Cozy and Inviting!

We really enjoyed our stay! The inviting patio was the perfect location for morning coffee and evening happy hour. The land surrounding the property is beautiful as the leaves were just starting to change. We greatly appreciated the included amenities (soaps, paper products, etc.) and checking in and out couldn’t have been easier. It was a quick 20-minute drive into Asheville. We thank you for your hospitality

Amazing Property

We absolutely love staying at Judy’s cottage. We are local and find this is such a great getaway just far enough from town that you feel like you’re not an home anymore. The cottage has everything you need. The beds are super comfortable and the disc golf is awesome. Judy is very responsive and has been so accommodating. We’ll be back in the fall for sure.
