Alaskan Adventure Dry Cabin #3
Experience true Alaskan living in one of our dry cabins. Cozy and secluded studio or "bunk house" style cabins in a great location for experiencing all the Alaskan adventures. While there is no indoor plumbing, each cabin is supplied with 5 gallons of water in a water dispenser for drinking, cooking, cleaning, and general hygiene with refills as needed. There is an outhouse for a bathroom which increases your chances of seeing the Aurora borealis in the winter with late night outhouse visits. We are located about 20 miles away from Fairbanks and North Pole in a great area for Aurora viewing. Dogsled rides are available on site during winter months (December -March) and we're located close to Chena State Recreational area where there are numerous hiking trails, River access, and fishing ponds for summer activities. Ask about our "add on" package deals like the "date night package" or the "girls night package" to customize your stay. Don't have time to pick up groceries? We can also provide groceries with our stock the cupboards packages. Send a message for a detailed list of add-ons and pricing. The space Furnished with a full kitchen, two sets of single bunk beds, tv, dvd player, and small dining area in a tiny house or studio type setting. Heat and electricity are provided. Other things to note Cell phone reception is weak and there is no wifi which makes it the perfect place to disconnect from everyday life to immerse yourself in the Alaskan wilderness.
The vacation home is heated and features a kitchen and space to spread out with 2 bedrooms. Guests can expect to find a TV with a DVD player. Other standard amenities include a coffee maker and a dining table.

Pros: It’s a cozy place for you to stay particularly in the cold winter. Close to the hot spring. The hosts are easy to communicate. They also have dog sledding on site.
Cons: Separate/outside toilet is very inconvenient, although we knew it in advance, no one wants to go outside to the bathroom at night when the weather is below 0. The host provides 5 gallons of water for drinking and washing purposes, which is barely enough for 4 people, very inconvenient.
Just wanted to leave some honest feedback. If don’t care “dry” cabin, then all good!
