Experience the outdoor ambience and linger on the different terrace areas, one with a sea view, the other sheltered by a canopy and the rocks. You can also take the stairs to a higher level, from where you have a fantastic view of the water and the archipelago. Barbecue and enjoy snacks outdoors.
The water is just a short walk away. Dive into the water or cast your line. There are many small picturesque fishing communities in Tjörn, including Klädesholmen and Skärhamn with many nice restaurants. Boats sail to the nearby islands of Åstol and Dyrön. For art lovers, there is the famous watercolour museum in Skärhamn and the Pilarne sculpture park on the north-west side of the island, which offers a varied art and nature walk. There are many wonderful bathing spots on the island and also opportunities to try out water sports such as kayaking and stand-up paddling. You can go shopping in Stenungssund, where there is a large selection of shops.
