This is an older property and it show its age a bit, but the rooms were clean and comfortable. The grounds and pool are both lovely, and we enjoyed having a room with a small patio overlooking the pool. Heads up: no clock or wash cloths provided at this hotel. The buffet meals were excellent.
Stayed for one night as part of an organised tour. Hotel was perfectly adequate, and considering how poor the country is the quality was above what I expected. Meals were fine, but breakfast was a bit of a scrum. There is a pool, but it is only waist deep!
We had a one night stay at this hotel as part of an organized tour. It was a suitable choice. Our room was comfortable and clean and the bed was comfortable. There is a nice outdoor pool area with a bar where we were able to relax late afternoon. In the evening we had a pizza in the lounge/bar area and it was quite good. There is a complimentary shuttle to the nearby casino. We ventured over but it was small and didn't really offer much as casinos go so our visit there brief. The breakfast buffet, which was included, offered adequate choices but it was very crowded and hectic.
This is an older hotel, they still have room keys to open the door. Make sure you take your key with you, because the room locks automatically once closed, which is good. You think you need to turn around and locked the door with the key, but you don't. Breakfast was good. There were a couple of power blips, but did not last long. Elevator was a little wonky. It would try to shut on you as you walked in or out. I don't know if there were sensors that would make them open if there was something in front of the door, I didn't linger too long to find out.
In general the hotel is 4*, but renovation is required! The rooms are large, but the furniture is shabby and old. Good Wi-Fi connection is only at the lobby. Hotel has swimming pool and bar. Dinners and breakfasts are at altitude:great choice and very tasty but the hotel was fully booked and there was a big queue at the restaurant! I did not have any problem with hot water.
Nice hotel with large, well equipped rooms and comfy beds. Located next to the golf link in a nice garden which is shared with the even more luxuryous Royal Swazi Spa hotel. A shuttle bus is offered between the 2 hotels. In each of the hotels a pretty good buffet style dinner is offered. Unfortunately the offered free internet connection did not work. However, in the Swazi Spa hotel a business center is available where we could as yet check our mail.
needs a renovation, still use door keys, 3 star accomadation. great loacation to visit Swaziland, all tourist spots nearby, a bit pricy for the accomadation. bathrooms defenitely need upgrades, security is present all time, so feel very safe. walls are thin, can hear next room. breakfast is ok . great choices. AC is noisy, and don't expect to sleep in, the curtains do not block the sun out on the corners.
The room was clean and neat. Only issues for me is the shower curtains, they flood the floor and stick to you while showering. Some ofbthecstuff where helpful and friendly ours where plan rude. The food was great a great variety
This was much better than expected based on other reviews. The rooms were clean and had all that we required. The meals were fine even if a basic buffet and the staff were friendly and helpful. There is a bus that goes to the sister hotel if you want the casino.
Reading earlier reviews of this property had made me apprehensive. However, I needn't have worried as my room was spacious and clean with comfortable beds. As other reviewers have noted, the ancient lift with its thudding noises was alarming - we used the staircases as often as possible. These too were ancient and rather dirty. Liked the variety of foods presented at the dinner buffet. The bar area was like an old inner city sports-bar watering hole - could really use a redesign and modernisation.
