Room was adequate. Staff OK. Rates were exorbitant and none of the discounts promised were applied. I am a retired veteran eligible for Military discount as well as a member of AARP. None were allowed. I suppose the registration process was less than clear and consequently I was misled regarding how to register and get the appropriate dicounts.

Rooms were very dirty. There was a lot of black hair in the bed, in the bathroom, on the toilet, in the shower, in the sink, on the towels. I wiped down the area for myself because it was disgusting to be in and the towel was very dirty after my wipe down, therefore, I do not know what and how the room was cleaned before I moved in. Poorly cleaned, it was very discomfortable to sleep and move into all this hair. Also, the staff at the front desk was not friendly, the attitude we received when we requested extra towels, it was very unfriendly and unhappy. As a client, I may request as many towels as needed. Moreover, I requested a second blanket and was given some weird brown/tan blanket not like the white one that is on the bed originally, it was very discomfortable and impossible to sleep in. It looked like a rug. We were not given rooms near by. The hallways are small, ceilings are low, and elevators are tight. On top of that, the socks that we brought home after weirding in this hotel, are so dirty and dark. Comparatively, when I stayed at a Holiday Inn hotel in Shakopee, it was so much more clean and they willing, happily, and without problem gave me as many towels and blankets as I requested. Since I liked my stay in Shakopee I went for a Holiday Inn in Evansville also but was very disappointed.
The socks I brought home after one day in the hotel.

Wow, what a pleasant surprise. Easy parking. Friendly staff and a really nice, large room. Had a double bed city view that was in the corner and we could see the river too. Modern room. Great water pressure in the shower.
