We stayed for one night on the way back to the UK,the room was a good size and very clean. There were two issues with room 127,regardless of which side of the bed you slept the mattress sloped towards the centre steeply,it should be replaced. Also the toilet seat was extremely loose and needed tightening. Now more good things, the staff are very friendly and the food in the restaurant is also well above what you would expect.
Stayed here a few times for overnight stop. Very much a proper hotel rather than an industrial motel. Polite and helpful reception, overnight manager on site. Excellent room with tea/coffee making facilities. Good value when compared to alternatives.
A stopover on the way South - very handy. Be aware, though, that your room will be over the carpark all down one side, and maybe also the front door, like us. So on a sultry night, if you want cool air, you'd better like cigarette smoke and lively conversation too. Might there not be a way of corralling the smokers round the front so your long-distance holiday-maker can sleep? Good coffee at breakfast. Other than that, nothing else to report. Which is what you want from a stop-over...
Very well located for a one night stopover on the way through France to Spain. Very friendly staff, clean rooms and linens, everything in working order. No a/c which may be a problem in hotter temperatures. Nice to have tea and coffe making facilities.
We stayed here as a stopover on a long journey and it was perfect - very clean, comfortable and spacious. There was a great breakfast selection at a very reasonable 9 euros. For a budget hotel, it's excellent value for money.
Stayed for one night on our way to south. Good location with neat & tidy rooms. Bathroom was clean, tea/coffee making facility also available in the room. The reception staff was very nice & helpful. Ample free parking on the hotel grounds. The quality of dinner food wasn't too bad either. Its a very unpretentious hotel, all in all a relaxing night & a comfortable stay.
Had a great visit, staff were great the room was clean and modern, there is parking but not enough. There are security cameras which is great only seemed to be two disabled parking spaces, the bathroom could do with a bit of tlc But was clean. We were in a family room lots of space but we were on the top floor which had sloping roof so if your tall and sharing be careful I'm 6f and had trouble but this would not stop me from saying here again. We had breakfast here it was very good lots of choices buffet breakfast 😀as we hadn't stayed before we didn't quite know how tables were chosen so we just sat down at a table of our choice and help ourselves. Good value for money 💰 for what your paying we stayed two different dates I would use this hotel again. We stayed when the weather was very hot could've done with air conditioning as on top floor we opened the window but little breeze.
Room smelt fresh and clean on arrival, kingsize bed, cotton white laundered linen very clean. Travelling with my dog who slept on the floor - no problems at checkin with pet - but I did email ahead to say I was bringing her just in case they had pet only rooms. English well spoken at reception and very polite staff. Well lit outside for loan female travellers.
Not as easy to find as it could be, the only sign we saw (as we left in the morning) was so overgrown with trees as to be useful. We stayed here a few years ago and it seems much the same. A little jaded! Flat car parking front and side of the hotel. A small terrace area outside the restaurant area. Friendly reception staff with halting English, but there was a rather nasty 'personal ' smell which was rather off putting. No lift but manageable stairs, if this is a problem ask for ground floor when you book. Room was spacious and well appointed with tea/coffee facilities and the best shower ever. Unfortunately the hair dryer cut out ever two minutes, so a little tedious. Bed very large and comfortable. Pillows absolutely awful. Lumps of hard rubber. Nice enough restaurant and the dish of the day was explained to us by our waitress. Rather nice buffet starter available and I had a nicely cooked steak. Although in need of some renovation and maybe better management, a good overnight stop
We chose this hotel because it had a restaurant only to find out that it didn't open on a Saturday night. We had to rush out to find somewhere still open and almost didn't make it. However, breakfast was OK. The hotel could do with a bit of tarting up but the rooms were clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, I slipped when stepping into the bath for a shower as it was extremely slippery. My knee is still bruised five weeks later. Apart from the restaurant, the hotel was adequate for our one night stop.
