Fabulous ground floor converted barn in very close proximity to the Europa-Park theme park. Very quiet and private. Parking is on the street outside but the road sees low level traffic and it wasnt an issue. Would have been nice to meet the hosts personally but this did not happen during our stay. However, communications via text were totally fine and we had no issues during our visit. Highly recommended.

A fantastic apartment

A absolutely fantastic apartment - close to the shops, town and theme parks. Our hosts were great - providing all the little essentials in the flat and giving us a warm welcome. If we come back on holiday in the area again we will definitely book again!

Gemütliche Unterkunft

Der Unterkunft fehlte es an fast nichts. Wir hatten alles, was wir brauchten, und an Sauberkeit war es auch kaum zu überbieten. Im nahegelegenen Ort (5 min Fußweg) hatte man Bäcker, Cafés, Restaurants und vieles mehr. Zudem ist Ettenheim ein sehr süßes und schönes Örtchen, was man unbedingt entdecken sollte. Bis nach Rust sind es nur 10 Fahrminuten und den Europapark sollte man keineswegs auslassen. Bis nach Freiburg auch nur 30 Minuten. Die Besitzerin war überaus nett und aufmerksam. Im Haus gibt es zusätzlich eine Dachgeschosswohnung, die auch vermietet wird. Einzige Mankos an der unteren Wohnung waren kein Zugang am TV zu Netflix etc (bzw keine Kabel, um den Laptop zu verbinden) und das Stockbett, was aber auch in Ordnung war (die Kinder schliefen darauf). Ein normaler Kleiderschrank fehlte auch, man musste mit Holzregalen auskommen. Empfehlungen: Gasthaus Adler Bäckerei Käufer Café Badisch Mokka Europapark Yullbe VR-Simulation Wanderweg zum Heubergturm

Toller Sommerurlaub

Wir haben im Juli einen wunderbaren Sommerurlaub in „Sophies Scheune“ verbracht. Die neu renovierte und modern eingerichtete Wohnung im Erdgeschoss war sehr sauber und mit ihren zwei Schlafzimmern perfekt für unsere kleine Familie. Auf der schattigen Terrasse mit Blick auf den Brunnen und den schön hergerichteten Garten mit den alten Baumbeständen saßen wir nahezu jeden Abend und ließen den Tag gemütlich ausklingen. Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, sodass wir uns in unserem Urlaubsdomizil äußerst wohl gefühlt haben.

Unvergesslicher Weihnachtsurlaub in Sophies Scheune

Wir haben eine wunderbare und erholsame Woche in der Erdgeschosswohnung verbracht. Vom sehr herzlichen Empfang in der mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichteten und sehr schön beleuchteten Wohnung mit einer Flasche Wein über die mehr als reichliche Ausstattung mit allem, was man so im Alltag braucht, bis zum wohlig knisternden Feuer im Schwedenofen - alles war perfekt. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Die Lage der Wohnung ist ideal. Sehr ruhig gelegen und doch in unmittelbarer Umgebung von mehreren guten Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants. Zu Fuss ist man in 5 Minuten in der schönen historischen Altstadt von Ettenheim. Mit dem Auto gibt es viele Ausflugsmöglichkeiten in der näheren Umgebung (die höchsten Wasserfälle Deutschlands in Triberg, Glasbläsereien, Freilichtmuseen, das Elsass .... und natürlich der Europapark in Rust). Die Woche ist viel zu schnell vergangen. Wir werden bestimmt bald wiederkommen. Nochmals vielen Dank für Ihre Gastfreundschaft, liebe Sophie und lieber Fabian!
