Welcome to Solitude Cabins Marmot #1, a serene vacation rental nestled in the heart of Colorado's Rocky Mountains in Estes Park. Situated on a vast nine-acre property adorned with trees, this cabin offers a truly tranquil and private retreat for nature enthusiasts and relaxation seekers. Guests can easily explore the beauty of the area, indulge in various outdoor activities, or simply bask in the serenity of the condo and surroundings. A quick walk to walking trails and Lake Estes, and a four minute drive to the free parking garage in downtown Estes Park, you won’t find a better location.

As you step inside the cabin, the main floor has a King bedroom, bathroom, and an open concept living and kitchen area. The living area features a gas fireplace, perfect for cozy evenings spent snuggled up with a book or enjoying the company of loved ones. There is also a Queen sleep sofa available for guests that want extra space. The kitchen is ready with everything needed to make great meals for family or guests. Just add the groceries! The main floor bedroom has a King bed and access to the main floor bathroom, with a shower. There is also access to a washer and dryer for your laundry needs. The deck offers a charming outdoor space where you can savor your morning coffee while immersing yourself in the breathtaking mountain views.

Upstairs you will enjoy the second bedroom with a King bed. This bedroom has a private ensuite bathroom with a shower.
Indulge in relaxation with a soak in the shared community hot tub, surrounded by the natural beauty of the Rockies. And for special occasions, Solitude Cabins offers a spacious gathering place accommodating up to 40 guests, ideal for hosting family reunions, corporate retreats, or memorable events amidst the serene backdrop of the Rocky Mountains. Management provides a starter kit of amenities to get you through your first day, including: an extra roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, one extra roll of paper towels, 2-3 garbage bags, sample-sized bottles of shampoo and conditioner, small bar soap, 2-3 laundry powder packs, 4-5 dishwashing pods, liquid dishwashing soap, and a single brew coffee pack or 4 K-cups depending on the property. Guests will need to provide or purchase additional toiletries and products as needed beyond this starter kit.

What to be aware of:

Estes Park is a Dark Sky Community. Bring a flashlight.

Bears in the area. Secure trash, lock doors and windows when leaving.

Shared Hot Tub-children under 12 are not allowed to use the hot tub, ages 12-18 must be with an adult.

Must be at least 25 years old to rent this home.

Quiet time at 9pm.

Local On-Call Staff available after hours for emergency issues only, i.e. gas leak, broken furnace, broken water line.

Snow Plowing / shoveling occurs when we have 4 inches of fresh snow on the ground prior to your arrival.


Long-term reservations of 14+ days require mid-stay property safety checks or mid-stay cleans, additional trash pickups and hot tub services. Safety checks are at no additional charge. Mid-stay cleanings include linens change, floors, bathrooms and light surface cleaning. Mid-stay services are charged to the guest, and charges can only be added after your reservation is made.
