Nestled in the pines at the base of Lumpy Ridge, Mountain Modern (Permit 20-NCD0308) sports 3 en-suite bedrooms on 2.6 acres adjacent to Rocky Mountain National Park.

Wake up in the master king to incredible views of Longs Peak, one of Colorado's most famous mountains, or watch the elk graze on our 2.6 acres.

Enjoy a quiet neighborhood, 2 decks and epic views in all directions.

The main floor has an open-concept living room, kitchen and TV room plus a laundry room, half bath and king bedroom suite with walk in closet and bathroom (shower/tub combo).
The lower level has a twin bedroom with en suite bath; a queen bedroom and a TV room with sofa bed. There’s a bathroom with double vanities and a shower between the queen room and tv room. Pocket doors between the tv room and main hallway can make this bed/bath/tv area into a private suite.

We have turned over management to our team at The Wolf Rentals. They're super responsive and know the area like the back of their hands!

NO SMOKING, NO FIRES

Our home is just a few miles from where two of Colorado's largest forest fires ever burned just a few years ago. We are a strict no-smoking property. No smoking inside, outside, and no outdoor fire pits (now illegal in Estes Park's vacation homes). Charcoal BBQs are banned. Our gas grill and gas fireplace are both allowed.

ROAD CONDITIONS

Estes has a great plow team and our driveway will also be plowed during storms, but if there's a huge blizzard, they may not be plowed exactly when you need them to be. We cannot assist if you get stuck and we always recommend that people rent AWD or 4WD when visiting us from October to May. We are at 8,000 feet and this can be a snowy area!

Do NOT leave food in your car! Bears frequent this area often and can break in!

SECURITY

We have a Minut smart home meter that alerts us to parties. It measures decibel levels and temperature to protect our home and neighborhood.

- We share a driveway with neighbors - PLEASE PLEASE DRIVE SLOWLY!!!
- No smoking, or parties
- 8 guests max
- We cannot accommodate early check in or late check out
- To keep our cleaning fees low, guests start a load of dishes and a load of towels at checkout
- Please use the "pet set" of washable quilts to cover sofas if you have dogs

Mountain Bliss: A Perfect Getaway in Estes Park

Our stay at this property in Estes Park was nothing short of magical! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning mountain views and the peaceful ambiance surrounding the home. The property was impeccably clean, thoughtfully decorated, and equipped with everything we could possibly need for a comfortable and relaxing getaway.The outdoor space was a dream, with plenty of seating to soak in the fresh mountain air and was the perfect way to unwind after a day of hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park, which is conveniently close by.Inside, the cozy fireplace and spacious living area made it feel like a true retreat. The kitchen had all the essentials and more, making it easy to prepare meals and enjoy them with a view. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and every room offered a sense of luxury and tranquility.The owners clearly go above and beyond to ensure their guests have a five-star experience. Thanksgiving Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Celebrated Thanksgiving with a delicious turkey dinner while staying here. We had everything we needed to cook our feast in the nice kitchen. It snowed the day we arrived but the driveway and sidewalk was cleared before we got to the house. the only thing that we would say that could use a little improvement would be the pillows. They are all pretty poor. But overall it is a great place to stay and we would definitely recommend.
