The hotel was very good as were the staff. Our stay was pleasing and the ammenities were good. One minor issue was the lack of English TV stations, only two and both news channels. Most of the guests were Europeans so this make sense for them. We would definitely go back there.

As 40 year old couple without children in attendance we wanted to find a place that was relaxing, not too much of an over the top full service resort and keep it close to bars/restaurants. Fuerte Suites did the trick. The units are SPACIOUS (read: huge), very clean and well maintained. The facilities were similar. Pools were nice, though mother nature interfered with using them. But when the rains rolled in the staff continued to work as hard to keep the drink/food service coming. Other pros include spa treatments, breakfast, front desk and restaurant staff. Keep in mind that it is a 10-15 Euro trip to town and too far to walk. There are a couple grocery stores across the busy road. So do your stocking up there if you can. The only negatives we found were on site store (expensive as you would expect) and consistency of the wi-fi. Although available throughout the facility they seemed to max out on users at points during the day - meaning you couldn't necessarily get on when you needed.
