2nd stay here this year on business. Overall hotel is nice and clean. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast selection is very good. Something for everyone. Only one small criticism is the air conditioning system in the room. Fan is quite poor and when it's hot, it's not enough to cool the room down. Other than that, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Also very close to Centro for some awesome shopping!!!
This is the 2nd time I've stayed at this hotel and enjoyed it again. Rooms are a decent size and very clean. Dinner at the restaurant was very nice. Breakfast was buffet style and was pleasant enough. Staff are all very friendly.
Easy and fast check-in. the room was clean, comfortable. Diner was very good. Breakfast very nice Check out very quick and efficient. The central location in Oberhausen was perfect. I have been there before and I will come back
Grear stuff. Perfect Hotel for Business travel. Clean. Grat and guiet location. Parking for the car. Grat restaurant but a little expensive.Bowling is just behand.Shoping mall is near. I recomend it...
Stayed here whilst attending the wXw 16 Carat Gold shows at the nearby Turbinenhalle, so this is a great hotel to stay at if you're going to that venue. Rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable. Great location.
Business trip 2 night stay. Rooms are nice and clean. Pretty basic but no complaints. Friendly staff. Really good selection for breakfast. You get what you pay for. Good for business travel. Some nice restaurants within walking distance
Easy to reach from the highway, comfortable beds, good wifi and very quiet. Breakfast is a ridiculously expensive. Appreciated the espresso machine in my room, not sure if this is standard as I got an upgrade. They introduced a parking fee but when I checked out they did not charge me. Very strange ;)
Visited the hotel around 12:30 after 24 hrs of travel.Realized that the check in time is 3 pm. Receptionist made it clear that I will have to wait till 3. I did not argue as it was my mistake too as I should have checked it and should have arranged for an early check in. Looking at my patience probably the receptionist gave up :) and she gave me key to my room. Breakfast is nice but monotonous. Housekeeping and hospitality is pathetic part. Most of the staff sounds rude. Rooms were not replenished tea/coffee sachets on most days. Location near to an official area with poor connectivity of public transport. Centro , the main attraction is quite a distance to walk. Overall - negative feedback.
Stayed here for a event at the Turbinenhalle. Was ideally situated for the venue as it's only a 5-10 minute walk away. The shopping centre Centro is also not too far away being a 25 min walk away. The room was a good size and very clean. The hotel has a restaurant which was good and the food was excellent. All the staff I dealt with were excellent and very polite and friendly. Will stay here again if I attend another event in Oberhausen
This was the first of 5 hotels over the course of a weeks travel to the UK with our 11 month old Boxer. It was also the first time with our dog and so we were unsure how things would work out. Upon arrival all the hotel staff were extremely friendly, welcoming and all made a fuss of our dog. One of the staff (male, sorry didn't get his name) was extremely helpful in arranging a table in a separate room where we could dine and eat breakfast accompanied by our dog, excellent service. We had a ground floor room with 2 doors, one opening out onto the car park so there was no need to walk through reception. Overall the room was large, clean, well equipped with coffee machine, TV and free wifi. Breakfast was in buffet form and was more than adequate, evening meals from the A La Carte menu are not over complicated, quite basic and typically priced for this type of a hotel. As we were not expecting anything else we were quite satisfied. Had I been alone my only dislike is that the bar area is a little small with a few bar stools and not so inviting. Although the hotel is located in the middle of an Industrial Park there is still a footpath that more or less runs the perimeter of the estate so adequate enough for a short dog walk. Turn right when leaving the hotel and follow the path alongside the bowling alley. All in all a good start to our break and would definitely be back in the near future.
