Ok, not for family vacation.

Rooms were relatively clean but one bed cover was dirty. Zone was ok, but seemed more like a motel than the Quality s that I am used to. Hot breakfast was offered but very basic. But did fit the price we paid for the area. My adult brother slipped in the shower because they didn't have a floor antislip mat or any bars for protection. And for the level of quality of the motel, I was shocked that $100 per room was the deposit for the day, seemed very high. Probably was to prevent smoking.

I stayed for 2 nights in mid-April. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and tidy. Location is near many food places, including a Farmer Boys and a Starbucks. Bad points are just one driveway into the hotel so you have to do a lot of right turns to get left. Also, second night of stay about 30 people and a dozen choppers held a barbeque party in the parking lot. Revving bikes, loud music, and strong smell of charcoal starter fluid filled the room.

The pool is closed, I’m not sure if it’s being renovated. The location is tucked I a corner behind a non operating restaurant kinda if hard to find. The parking lot is not paved. There’s a lot of debris near the check in area of the lot. Other than that our one night stay is comfy. Nice staff.

Worst experience

This place was the worst place I have ever stayed at. It’s subpar atmosphere was disappointing. First got there and the sink was clogged and notified front desk. My kids and I left and came back and issue was not resolved. Had to call in the morning to get the sink to be unclogged from some sort of dirt residue. Two - I left my sunglasses there after I checked out and came back and they were missing from the room. Idk if house keeping took them but the worst experience. And then to top these two off it’s advertised as the pool is working but it in fact is being reconstructed. This place is loaded with a bunch of drug addicts. Do not stay here.

Im not sure if it’s Escondido thing or just rhe hotel itself. Inside the room is ok. Service is not so great. We wanted one extra bedsheet but the said they don’t have any extra. I doubt it. Breakfast is served by staff but they are really stingy. They doubted the number of bacon strips we are. What the bell!? The area around the hotel is really rundown.

The room was perfect!! My mom and I so enjoyed our visit! The room had everything in it like... coffee pot, frig, microwave, iron board, hair dryer and the room was spotless! I've gone to places without any of these items and they were supposed to be a 5-star hotel. I will be coming back to Quality Inn for sure!!

Sketchy area

Hotels is okay for a last minute need. The area looks very sketchy. You can here everything from other rooms and shower head is super low. Anyone over 5.3 its sure be a problem. Smells old
