On the whole a good hotel.

Hotel standard was excellent from room size, shower, breakfast and Restaurant. Unfortunately slightly let down as breakfast fast area had no teabags available in the morning. Staff did not make an effort to get them either. Pool not open either, disappointing.

Come on Hilton you can do better than this

I know that we are living in difficult times but if your restaurant is closed due to COVID we should be when booking. We queued for 20 mins at reception while a local family tried to check in without their HES codes. Once we got to the desk we were told that the process might take some time and to go and sit in the lounge. We were tired and hungry..... why would we want to sit in the lounge?!!! I have stayed in Hilton Garden Inns all over the world. Our experience here was poor. Incidentally the staff member on duty for breakfast was excellent.... oh and the restaurant was open. Strange that! They can open for breakfast but too lazy to provide a meal for hungry tired travellers.... .no room service either!
