Great place for playing on the water

Great house for what we needed. Our family was there for a week for an event at the Northern Waters outfit across the river. We could bike back and forth to the house and there was plenty of space for everyone. The air hockey table was a big plus as well!

Served its purpose

The house was fine for a quick overnight when we just needed a place to crash but I would not want to stay any longer. The house was incredibly outdated which was not terribly bothersome until you got into the bedroom where the bed and sheets were likely the same ones from 1970. The house was not very clean. The kitchen was where we noticed that most. The house has a lot of potential but desperately needs updating. The host was great and the location is great.

We couldn't have asked for a better place to spend the Fourth of July! The location is absolutely perfect—close enough to walk into town, yet we enjoyed an amazing view of the fireworks right from the property. The home was spacious and comfortable, with plenty of room for our entire family to gather. The dining room was ideal for family meals, and the outdoor space truly made our stay special. We loved playing yard games, grilling on the excellent propane grill, and ending each evening around the wonderful fire pit. Having a generous supply of cut and stacked firewood provided was such a thoughtful touch and made it so easy to enjoy the evenings.Everything was exactly as described, and the location simply can't be beat. We created so many wonderful family memories during our stay and would not hesitate to book this property again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway within walking distance of town!
