The perfect glamourous getaway in the woods! Come stay in our private cozy cottage in the peaceful countryside, just minutes from the Coombs (Goats On The Roof) market and Englishman River Falls. Fall into bed with 1000 thread count sheets and down filled duvets, after a long day of exploring all Vancouver Island has to offer! Fluffy towels await your shower with views of the forest as you have your morning Kurig coffee surrounded by birdsong. Cozy up to our propane fire pit and make memories roasting marshmallows together. We are about an hour from Mt. Washington ski resort and only minutes from the ocean at Parksville and Rathtrevor Beaches. This spot includes all the ease of quiet country living and yet close to so much fun filled summer adventures in Parksville! We are on the gateway to Tofino beaches, at the doorstep to world class mountain biking trails, and a short drive to Cathedral Grove. Stay with us in luxurious comfort and you will not want to go home!
The cottage is heated and features a kitchen and a patio, and there's space to spread out with a separate bedroom. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a fireplace, and a coffee maker. Change of towels is available on request.

What a lovely stay we had at the Country Cottage. This place has all the charm you would think it should have. The cottage is well equip with everything you could imagine and the hosts seemed concerned that we feel at home and relaxed, which we did. The setting is lovely and the peace and quiet are abundant. Would rate 6 stars if we could. Very quiet and enjoyable. The accommodations were very new and the cabin was incredibly cozy with the fireplace and blankets. The bed was extremely comfortable and it was nice and quiet at night. Awesome TV with easy access to streaming services. So much was provided - cooking utensils, silverware, plates, cups, cutting boards, etc… and location was beautiful, directly adjacent to the woods and lots of birds and wildlife in the vicinity. Perfect shower and bathroom as well! We will most definitely be back.

We chose the location because we were visiting family close by. The accommodations were fabulous, the bed provided for a great nights sleep. The host was on site and available for any questions. We had a relaxing weekend with family and definitely would recommend for a relaxing weekend.
