Right downtown which may be convenient but makes it noisy. Beautiful flowers on the property. Unfortunately the TV had no signal which was frustrating and staff just apologized. Not good enough IMHO. Moved to another property for the next 3 nights.

Great location - can walk immediately into downtown with cute shops, etc. Onsite Mexican restaurant is very good too. However, for a $200/night rate, it was not very clean. Bathroom sinks and bath faucet needed deep clean (not just stained). One side of guesthouse faces Mt. Rainer and one side faces parking lot and park (which had multiple unhoused people and men changing clothing in back of their pickup trucks as our view- traveling with two young kids). And there was a hole in our window (from a BB gun). The breakfast is good, but bring your own protein source as there isn’t any eggs (scrambled, hard boiled) typical of breakfast options elsewhere. For the condition of the room, I would have expected to pay no more than $100 nightly.

Location is great. Property feels aged. Cool to have a restaurant on site. Wish they had an elevator because I had to carry some really heavy items up to the second floor.

Of the two sinks in the bathroom, the right-hand one was almost completely plugged up and drained VERY slowly, rendering it almost unusable. Second, the double bed on the right side of the room was EXTREMELY saggy and unstable. Must have some broken support or something beneath.

Used this as a base to get to nearby Crystal Mountain for a ski trip on a budget. Location was great ~50 mins to get to the mountain. Hotel itself is simple enough but dated (not a problem just a fact), was clean enough. Basic included breakfast: cereals, yoghurts, sliced bread/english muffins, waffle maker, tea/coffee/juice Only negative was that breakfast was not ready on Sunday at the advertised 6am start so the few early riser guests had to rummage around the breakfast area to try and find something to eat and turn the appliances on etc.

We stayed in room 1009. It was clean, spacious and the beds were incredibly comfortable. We were happy to have a microwave and a small fridge. It could use a little more lighting in the bathroom. It had one dim ceiling light with no cover (exposed bulb and wires) and no venting fan. Our children stayed in the room next to us (1010) and it smelled terribly like cigarettes. Very strong smell. The hotel offers rollaway beds for $20 but I would not recommend it to anyone. It felt like metal wires/springs - not suitable even for a child.
