Wake up in the mountains. Coffee at the café downstairs. 20 minutes to Crystal Mountain and Mt. Rainier — Wapiti Basecamp is a mountain loft tucked above the famous Wapiti Outdoors in the heart of Greenwater. Two queen beds (one in the loft) plus a full-size convertible bed — sleeps 6 comfortably. Family-friendly and dog-friendly. Breakfast on us at the café downstairs every morning, plus 10% off everything else at the café and shop.
The apartment is air-conditioned and features a patio and space to spread out with a separate bedroom. The apartment also includes a washing machine.

The apartment worked great as a basecamp for our Mt. Rainier adventures. We appreciated the privacy, ease of communication, and we took full advantage of the 10% discount on gift store items, breakfast burritos, and ice cream. Don't skip the huckleberry ice cream! Would stay again in a heartbeat.

The apparent is very nice, quiet, clean, and well organized. The bed is comfortable but the pillows are way too large and the comforter is good for cold weather. There are few throws that can be used as light blankets for one not very large person. The kitchenette is well equipped except that it has only disposable dishes: cups, paper plates, and plastic utensils. The fridge and freezer are filled with bar drinks and other food items for sale and there is little space left for guests food. The complementary breakfast is actually just one pastry item cream cheese and coffee/tea which are available also in the apartment.

The listing makes it seem as if the bathroomIs in the unit. It is actually in the hallway. For adults that isn’t an issue but with kids it is a not ideal. There were also no curtains/blinds on most of the windows, so it made it challenging to get to sleep/ stay asleep. It would have been nice to have things like silverware, cups, etc. We did appreciate the drink and bagel/pastry breakfast. This may be a great place for adults to stay, I would not recommend for a family.
